Prasana Prabhu, Chairman of The Art of Living Social Projects, met Shri Sanjay Rathod, Maharashtra’s Minister of Soil and Water Conservation, to highlight the transformative impact of The Art of Living Social Projects’ water conservation initiatives in the state. These efforts have rejuvenated 33+ rivers and benefitted 22,75,000+ people. 57,000+ recharge structures were constructed, 2,90,64,600 cubic metres desilted and 7,28,900 trees planted - bringing life changing relief to drought-prone regions, significantly boosting crop yields, and supporting thousands of farmers and communities in Maharashtra alone. Prasana Prabhu invited Shri Rathod to the upcoming Kisan Samman Mahotsav (KSM) 3.0, scheduled for January 29 and 30, 2025 at The Art of Living International Center, Bengaluru. This flagship event will celebrate farmers' resilience and contributions while equipping them with valuable knowledge in sustainable agriculture. Over a thousand farmers from Maharashtra are expected to travel to Bengaluru for KSM 3.0 on their own initiative. Driven by profound gratitude for Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's groundbreaking water conservation projects, many of them will be experiencing air travel for the first time. Their participation reflects the deep impact of The Art of Living Social Projects’ work in empowering rural communities and advancing meaningful change. #ArtofLiving #GurudevSriSriRaviShankar #Gurudev #theArtofLivingSocialProjects #WaterConservation #SustainableAgriculture #KisanSammanMahotsav #MaharashtraFarmers #CommunityEmpowerment #RuralDevelopment #EnvironmentalInitiatives #AgriculturalResilience

Did you know that a mature tree can produce enough oxygen to sustain four people for a day? Trees are vital to our environment, purifying the air, mitigating climate change, and providing habitat for countless species. Let's plant more trees and contribute to a greener, healthier planet. #TheArtofLiving #TheArtofLivingSocialProjects #TreeOxygen #SustainableLiving #PlantATree #EnvironmentalAwareness #ClimateAction #GreenPlanet #Biodiversity #AirPurification #NatureConservation #HealthyEcosystem

I am truly impressed by the diversity and impact of our #CSR initiatives in India, led by our Ashirvad by aliaxis teams in partnership with the Art of Living Foundation, Smile Foundation, and Ashirvad Plumbing School. When communities thrive, we all rise - every initiative we undertake is driven by a simple yet profound principle: strengthening the resilience of both people and the planet : - We contribute to water conservation, river rejuvenation, wetland construction, and pond rejuvenation projects to restore vital water resources. - We have planted over 15,000 trees to drive environmental restoration and foster a greener future. - We empower young women through soft skill education, equipping them with the skills to seize new opportunities. - We provide essential resources and training to improve learning environments for underserved communities. - Our Plumbing School addresses the growing need for skilled plumbers while creating sustainable economic opportunities, especially for underserved communities. - With the Smile on Wheels mobile health program, we bring essential and equitable access to medical facilities to underserved and remote communities. From environmental conservation to education, health, and hygiene, every action contributes to building a sustainable and equitable future. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Art of Living Foundation and its founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, whom I had the privilege of meeting during my recent visit to their campus. It was a profoundly transformative experience that deepened my appreciation for the meaningful impact we can achieve together. Together, we are making a difference — one step, one tree, one life at a time.
