The event is organised by the Department Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka under the guidance of Vision Group on Nanotechnology, Govt. of Karnataka, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR). The Event is aimed at giving fillip to the growth of Nanotech Industry in the country. BENGALURU INDIA NANO 2024 will be held from 1st to 3rd August 2024. The role of nanotechnology in improving healthcare was emphasized, including its applications in treating gut inflammations and diseases. The use of magnetic nanoparticles for targeted cancer therapy through magnetic particle hyperthermia was also explored. Additionally, innovations in cancer treatments, such as converting injectable drugs to oral formulations using nanotechnology, were discussed.
