#STARWomen at Blue Star Limited in Manufacturing - Rising & Reaching the Stars We are excited to share the journey of Sejal Gavli who is a shopfloor trainee in line operations at our Dadra Factory. Her role encompasses various tasks such as testing and wiring, ensuring her days are both engaging and dynamic. What truly stands out for her is the exceptional support from the onsite medical facility, ensuring a safe work environment. As one of the first women on the export shop floor, she takes pride in the equal opportunities offered by management. Renaissance - A Memorable Manufacturing Meet : The last two days 18 & 19 Jan 2025 the Manufacturing Team of Blue Star Limited spent together on the Cordelia cruise ship and participated in the Renaissance Manufacturing Meet. For many of them, it was their first time on a cruise, making it even more special. The meet which started with the context-setting session by Group President-Manufacturing Senthil Bala Sir was a highlight, touching on vital aspects like SQPDC, teamwork, servant leadership, and continuous learning — which were also the key themes beautifully encapsulated in the welcome letter from him that everyone received when boarding the ship. Bala’s subsequent sessions on our Q3 achievements, priorities for the next fiscal year, and motivation for the team was inspiring. It was truly heartwarming to witness the incredible achievements of our units which are well on track to meet their FY25 targets, steering confidently toward success. The active participation of everyone in the business sessions asking clarifying questions, engaging in discussions, and even promising their commitment to make new records and break old records —was a testament to the leadership and commitment of Manufacturing team. BTN Sir’s address further reinforced the potential areas to enhance the SQPDC effectiveness in manufacturing. Sessions from our senior leaders added depth to the meet: devidas kasbekar (DVK’s) insights on Gen Z, Sunil Shah's enlightening discussion on the four neurochemicals of happiness, and Sushil Deshpande's lively quiz session were all engaging and thought-provoking. The awards session hosted by Rajesh Kumar and Debjyoti Das from the Manufacturing HR Team was another high-energy highlight. It was a proud moment to celebrate the achievements of our individual and team award winners in 7 categories, viz. Productivity Powerhouse Award; Quality Vanguard Award; Cost Crusader Award; Delivery Dynamo Award; Safety Sentinel Award; Morale Maestro Award and Eco Warrior Award . This meet was a significant initiative envisioned by Senthil Bala Sir and his leadership team, and its execution was made possible with the all-round support of Manufacturing Leadership Team and high execution excellence demonstrated by the Organizing Team comprising of my colleagues from Manufacturing HR team. As manufacturing professionals, we are known for our pragmatic, results-driven approach. We focus on getting the job done properly rather than rushing to simply look good in the short term. With the vision of our leadership team, we are becoming increasingly resilient, aligning ourselves with the future of manufacturing, and preparing to breed the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow from amongst us. With this unification and commitment to go the extra mile, the Manufacturing team will now continue to work harder together, driven by the shared vision of taking manufacturing at Blue Star to greater heights. We're thrilled to announce that our team has successfully participated in the Chennai Marathon 2025, showcasing incredible spirit and endurance. More than 100+ employees from South region and Sricity Plant took part in both the 10km and 21km categories, each one of them embodying the values of determination and teamwork. Sathish Kannan, Prabhu R., Suhail Karat, Yusuf E, Rajath Chandran, Ganesh Priyan, Balaji R, Vijaykumar S, Mahesh Yadav, Shiv Prasad Vishwakarma and Deepak Sharma have displayed their high endurance levels by completing the half marathon spanning over 21 Km in which Sathish Kannan has completed in 2 hr 09 mins. Among 10km run Ganesh B U had completed in 56 mins. A huge congratulations to every participant for crossing the finish line, the event also exemplified Blue Star’s commitment to health, fitness, and community engagement. #BlueStar #EmployeeEngagement
