Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Ultraviolette Automotive has announced its plans to to expand its presence across multiple two-wheeler segments. The company currently sells the F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet premium electric motorcycles and now aims to launch new products, including more affordable motorcycles and an e-scooter. South Korean automotive major Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차) has announced it has successfully completed a pilot project for Private 5G (P-5G) RedCap (Reduced Capability) technology in partnership with Samsung Electronics. JSW Morris Garages India, a leading passenger vehicles manufacturer, has implemented green pretreatment line in its paint shop process, which it shared will enable it to cut down around 1,800 tonne of carbon emissions annually. The automaker claims it is the first OEM in India to implement the step by incorporating ambient temperature phosphate (at 38deg C) developed by PPG Asian Paints in its Pretreatment Electrodeposition (PT-ED) line. JCBL, a leading bus bodybuilder, has delivered 106 custom-designed staff buses to Mahindra Group in a record time of three months. The buses feature 17-inch-wide seats, driver’s cabin partition, digital LED route displays, USB charging points and fans on each seat row. Mobec Innovation (Mobec.io), India’s first full-range service provider for customisable B2B mobile EV charging solutions and energy storage systems, has launched its first lithium battery recycling plant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. With an annual processing capacity of up to 6,000 tonnes, the plant will recover lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite, copper and manganese from end-of-life batteries. Mobec's initiative lessens dependency on foreign supply chains by obtaining resources both domestically and from the Asia-Pacific area, supporting India's Atmanirbhar Bharat objective.
