Success Story #1: Efficient battery cooling with #StokTherm - when passion, teamwork and innovation meet at Stokvis Tapes Group! A leading manufacturer of EVs was faced with the challenge of improving the efficiency of battery cooling. The goal was to find a solution that would optimize heat dissipation of the batteries, increase thermal stability and at the same time not significantly increase production costs. By using our StokTherm acrylate and silicone thermal interface materials with their excellent thermal conductivity and flexibility, we were able to meet our customer's challenges. Here are some insights into our implementation: 🔹 Material selection: Engineers selected specific StokTherm materials based on the thermal requirements of the battery modules. 🔹 Prototype development: Prototypes of the battery modules were equipped with the new thermal interface materials. 🔹 Testing and validation: Extensive testing was carried out to verify the thermal performance and mechanical integrity of the materials. Thanks to this solution, we were able to significantly increase the service life and reliability of the battery modules.
