Moving Horizon Estimation is an estimation method in computer science that addresses real-world constraints and limited data, but its optimization process can be computationally expensive. This approach significantly reduces compute time while ensuring convergence, as demonstrated through a unicycle localization example, enhancing accuracy with lower computational costs. In their #ResearchPaper published in the Journal of Food Engineering, our researchers introduced a non-invasive method to detect the freshness of packaged milk using capacitive Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and an NFC-enabled smartphone.
