We enjoyed this property, and they were very accommodating when we first saw the room that they assigned to us. It was not what we expected, so they moved us to another side of the property where there were beautiful views, and a nice size tub. Etienne Was exceptionally helpful as was Raphael at the front desk. What we enjoyed as well was the restaurant. Sadly, I cannot remember the two gentlemen that waited on us for dinner, one night and dessert the following night. There was also a young man, tall and slender, who made the most delicious drink! I highly recommend this property in the restaurant if you were interested in staying in Saint Malo.

This is a typical French seaside ”pension”, with small rooms, a bar/bistro/crêperie and fantastic views over the beach and sea. The décor needs brightening up, but it is clean throughout, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is quite modern and the shower was excellent. We took a room on the sea side with a small balcony, which was absolutely worth paying for....in fact it is a must. We appreciated drinking traditional Breton cider in the bar on the ground floor, and at the great rooftop bar. This was an unexpected bonus. We also really enjoyed the buffet style breakfast - traditional French with good bread, croissants, etc, as well as cold meats and eggs cooked quickly to order. Of course fresh crêpes were also available. For us, the hotel completely conformed to our expectations for this type of short stay. We visited in Nov, but it was a holiday weekend, and St Malo was very busy. We did not take the option of the private hotel parking, and it was difficult to find a space close by.

Comfortable bed, convenient underground parking (although it does flood and you may need to move the car to the street like we had to) and very convenient to the old city. There are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance and the view is amazing if you get one with an ocean view. Overall an excellent option if staying in St. Malo.

Superb sea view room booked at a good rate through Brittany Ferries in a ferry and hotel package. Amazing listening to the sound of the waves as I went to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a wonderful bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and separate rain shower. The room was so luxurious and the view so good we didn’t want to leave and didn’t manage to try out the pool and spa area downstairs. The hotel is situated right next to the old town with a good choice of restaurants in close proximity. We had continental breakfast in the room and it was ok

Yes, the room is big, the location is OK, walking to the old town is also OK, breakfast is not bad

Small, charming, authentic but with confort. It is a villa converted into hotel. Our room was on the villa building, it was spacious for French norms. Bathroom clean and also quite spacious for the norm. Only minus the noise, you could hear what was going on downstairs and on the stairs. The small terrace/garden area was great to enjoy the sun avoiding the wind (which can blow quite hard in Saint Malo). Although a bit far from Saint Malo, you still have the beach just there and there are also restaurants around. They rent bikes (bit pricey), which we used to make excursions to nearby villages and to Saint Malo. By foot, Saint Malo center is like 25min. It has some parking spots, but you need to book in advance as there are not so many. In low season would not be an issue to find parking on the street. Breakfast was good with not crazy choice but lots of homemade things and fresh juice. Staff was also very friendly.

We travel to St Malo often and this was by far the best hotel stay we have had. There were 7 couples traveling and we enjoyed the bar area where we could congregate during the day We love the central location as we could all wander off as we felt like as all was so accessible . The room was great and bed very comfortable , great pillows which are a must for me

Apartment needed some TLC but had a dishwasher, large fridge, plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Terrace very small, barely enough room for 2 people given the apartment was meant for 4. Please note some rooms do not have a bed. The description stated a double sofa bed and bunk beds but we assumed it would also have a bed!! Bed linen was provided but we had to make all the beds on arrival and strip them upon departure. Not ideal after a long drive. I have stayed in Pierre & Vacances accommodation in another area in France before and this was nothing like previous experience. Description mentioned a private beach?? Where? We were not told of this. Someone mentioned a family room? Where? Nightmare parking on first arrival, had to park a distance away in the street. We were not told about this. Taking into account the price paid, I cannot recommend this property and would not stay here again.
