The room is a domestic express hotel, but the parking is free and there are many vacancies. The address is in a Danish town, which is very convenient for going out. The staff is very friendly and lemonade is always available in the lobby.
After arriving at the hotel, the front desk could not find an order for an hour to stay. The outside looks pretty good, but the room is very old, the air conditioning sounds so huge that our little heart can't stand it, so we have to turn it off. I stayed for a night and stayed for a long time, so I was too lazy to change rooms. Fortunately, the weather is not cold or hot, no air conditioning is OK. There are coin-operated self-service laundry and drying, it doesn't look very clean, but there is no clothes to wear. Not recommended!
Absolutely disappointed! We've stayed here before and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I can't say the same about this trip. Upon check in we were informed there would be no water at the property between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am due to some maintenance being done by the city, and this was last of a three night stretch this was occurring. This was not disclosed at the time of booking and I made the reservation on what would have been the first night of the outage. The girls at the check in desk were less than accommodating. I realize this isn't their fault, but I would expect more than an unsympathetic response of, ”We're not giving any kind of discount or accommodation, but we will allow you to cancel and seek reservations elsewhere,” knowing full well that was a joke being this area is a tourist destination that regularly sells out starting Thursday night for the weekend. Then we head for our room on the third floor and we find the elevator is out of service. No warning from the girls at the front desk, who actually directed us to the elevator. I'm not sure what happened since we last stayed here, but I doubt we'll ever see this place again. Not even an offer of bottled water to hold you over for the night. Horrible customer service! Unexpected things happen, but by the third night of the issue I would have expected management to communicate the issue to upcoming reservations. Immediately upon learning of the issue of 3 nights of no water, you would think emails would have gone out to guests scheduled to check in advising of the problem, allowing them to check for other lodging. The curt advisement of, “ You can cancel your reservation and seek lodging elsewhere,” as we were checking in just isn’t the way you win consumer loyalty or keep repeat customers.
We just finished our stay at Mirabelle Inn and loved it, From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the quaint hotel and staff made us feel special and welcomed. The rooms are amazing with a very comfortable bed. We highly recommend a room with a balcony to enjoy breakfast or an evening glass of wine. We had in room breakfast both ways and the omelette was the best I have ever had. Not only did the staff remember that it was our anniversary, but they also wished us a happy anniversary many times throughout our time here as well as at dinner. Dinner at Oak and Ivy was a delicious and fun experience in a Michelin-rated restaurant. We will definitely be back!
This hotel is in a good location, very easy to find, the room is very warm and beautiful, there is a parking lot but it has to give 15 knives, the surrounding environment is also very good, it is a good choice worth recommending
The service staff in the restaurant were very warm and friendly, but the room service was not good. When I went to bed at night, I found stains on the sheets and called to ask for the sheets to be changed. The service staff came 10 minutes later and handed me the sheets and asked the guest to change them by himself. After looking at the stains , and said it was not a stain, but a trace of ironing. Breakfast was included in the room rate when booking. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk said there was no breakfast included, so we contacted Ctrip customer service. Ctrip customer service was very helpful. They promised us to pay in advance, passed the breakfast receipt, and refunded us quickly. , must like it👍
The name of the hotel is deceptive, so it is most valuable! Parking is free and the parking lot is large. There is no parking space. If you are lucky, you can park your car at the door of the room. The breakfast is not good.
The King Fredrik Inn is so well located in the heart of Solvang that after checking in and parking our car, we did not need it until checking out two days later after a great stay. The rooms are impeccably clean in every square inch of our two queen bed room for my wife, son and I. The bathroom and shower were equally spotless throughout our stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. A continental breakfast is served each morning with freshly baked danish and muffins from an excellent local bakery - Olsen's- just down the street. Orange and apple juice are available in addition to coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The pool is a nice size but we did not use it. The King Fredrik Inn welcomes all guests warmly and without judgment- whether a family, a couple or singles. Many restaurants are within a few walkable blocks and the staff seemed knowledgable about them. We greatly enjoyed our visit and stay at The King Fredrik Inn.

HHuanqiulvxing~laozhangThe room is very warm, clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including a microwave, a refrigerator, and the most indispensable kettle for Chinese people, with drinking water provided. It is the most satisfactory accommodation for me during my self-driving trip to the United States. The receptionist at the front desk was very enthusiastic and recommended good restaurants to us. I will stay at this hotel next time I come.
PPEISHANThe location of the hotel is easy to find, just by the road, the environment is good, and the parking is convenient. Just at the entrance of the Danish village, the car parked here, and it was very convenient to walk to the village. We have a family of five, one of whom is a BB, with twin beds. Breakfast is fine. Worth staying

The rooms are decorated in the Danish-modern style - so minimalistic, with only the bare essentials. We don’t feel that the rooms were configured very well, there are very few places for you to store your things and the beds were placed in such a way that we had to dodge the light fittings, TV and bench top. The floors are plywood and tile, which is probably great for summer but we visited in winter, so they were icy. The reverse-cycle air-conditioner was very loud so we had to turn it off to sleep. On the plus side, the motel is in a terrific location right in the centre of town and even though there is contactless check-in, the staff are very quick to respond to any queries via text or *********** messages. This is probably the best value option if you are visiting Solvang on a budget
The one good thing about this hotel/motel was Julie who managed the front desk. She was helpful and cheerful. If not for her I would give this a zero. We came up to Solvang to get away for a few days and had looked at some of the reviews on this property and thought we would give it a try. First impression is that the outside looks nice and centrally located in Solvang. They also provide you with a continental breakfast across the street at Olsen’s bakery, it is very good. Now the bad. There is construction being done on one of the units in the front which was basically just across from where we stayed and it was a constant noise from 8 o’clock in the morning until 5 PM. This was not indicated when we were doing the reservation. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is no larger then a broom closet. we honestly could’ve put up with that but for the fact that the room smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while…so I kept the window or door open all the time to get fresh air. The water took 10 minutes to heat up in both shower and sink. Now for the bed…get new mattresses before someone sues you for an injury, yes that bad. I really wish I could have given them a better review but I’m way too old to lie about these things. Unless they redo the rooms, Find yourself another property to stay at. I can’t speak to the quality of the cottages, so that may ne their saving grace.
GGuest UserThe room was an okay size, furnished with a king bed (very hard mattress), two nightstands, a small desk and chair and a round table and two chairs. The furniture was rather beaten up. There was only a lamp on one of the nightstands. There was no phone (probably not important since everyone has a cell phone), no clock, very few wall plugs and no USB plugs. The wallpaper was torn. There was a great deal of ground in dirt on the door and door frame to the bathroom. The towels were very thin. The water, when first turned out came out an ugly brown. There was no smoke alarm in the room. There was a microwave and a fridge but the door to the freezer compartment was missing. These are things that might be overlooked at an inexpensive price but for $170 a night it was ridiculous. Solvang does tend to be expensive but for that price they need to do a lot of remodeling. For not much more you could stay somewhere much nicer. For breakfast they gave a voucher for a Danish pastry and coffee at a bakery across the street. If you tried to go there in the morning the wait was about an hour in line to get waited on. Even closer to noon, the line was 30 minutes long. Really not worth it.
ZZhangFirst of all, the self-driving No. 1 road must have a night in the Danish town, and secondly if it is a person who can really live in this hotel. The boss is a big bearded person, and it is a descendant of Viking. Hotel check-in is in another block, Ctrip will remind you to pay attention to the call. Eating breakfast is a voucher for a bakery. You choose the bread and drink you want in the store. I feel that the whole town is an economic whole. Everyone helps each other. Very, not American haha.
