Avid Hotel Elkhart North Reviews

Hotel is newer and still smells new in many places. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the experience was good overall. I loved that coffee was available all the time. Breakfast was pretty basic but decent.

It would be nice to have breakfast earlier around 5:30 am. I typically leave for work at 5:30-6am and miss breakfast each time.

Good location and new rooms

When I checked in, there was still a lot of small garbage on the floor of the room that had not been cleaned up. The room was quite quiet and there was a large parking lot. The breakfast was too simple and there was nothing to eat. All in all the price is good.

The room is very convenient and very close to my client's company. Breakfast is provided and coffee and hot water are provided.

The hotel is very new, with parking and self-service breakfast. If you finish it later, there won’t be many varieties. Overall, it’s very convenient.

Hotel room clean

Our room was very clean. I liked the fact that there was no carpet in the room. After traveling we were looking forward to a good nights sleep. Well….that did NOT happen. In all the years of sleeping on hotel beds this bed at this hotel was the worst! I have no idea what the problem was but I think it was the bed frame. Every time we moved it made a really loud sound. With this being a new hotel I was surprised that this was an issue. When we checked out the front desk person said this has been a common complaint. Next time we are in the area we will stay someplace else.
