Guangzhou Tianhe District Hotels

First time staying in such an atas yet reasonably affordable hotel. Really clean and minimalist- free flow water. They have 2 floors for laundry and it’s a good trouble off our mind cause you don’t have to wash your clothes when u go back to your country.

Stayed during canton fair & a week after. Total 2+ weeks. Here are my feedback: - location can get any better. With Shipaiqiao metro station just few steps away. Exit b on the right & exit A on the left. I usually take exit A through the mall next door if u don’t want to climb steps. - mall next door called one link mall. It has all that you need. From food, shopping, Starbucks & others. - malls: there are series of malls next to each other. Walk through one link mall exit on the other side to reach to the enormous Grandview mall. Across grandview mall you get the popular underground mall. Continue straight you get the Tianhe sports complex mall. - there are many eateries around & 711/ family mart - taxi drop is either at the side of the hotel or Main Street which is advantage to go around but not so much when you have lots of luggage. So it’s good to ask driver to drop you at the side with your luggage. Take note that when searching with the hotel address in didi taxi app, you will get many different hotel names but they all lead to the same. - there are two hotels in the same building . Grand rezee & Elchic which is the actual name of the hotel on the building. -cleanliness: its very good. You will see some Aging/ scratches on furniture & others but overall very good - staff are willing to help. I tend to ask them for help not in peak hours. I had few times when they don’t reply or not so helpful & usually when they are busy which was understandable. I asked them to extend my checkout to 6 pm for free since I stayed 2+ weeks but they didn’t accept. So I paid for it. - breakfast just ok if you are used to western breakfast but otherwise is good. - laundry room, drinking station at lobby & other facilities are really good. - communication is usually through WeChat with staff. So any request I needed, I’ll message them. That came very useful as I don’t speak Chinese. - I’m solo traveller & felt very safe in the area - room: not as big but adequate. Most importantly, clean. Stayed on the 18th floor & the view was great. Bed is very firm for me so I had to ask for additional blanket & slept on it. Finally, I would say, if this is in your budget. Don’t hesitate to book it. Esp if it’s your first time in Guangzhou. P.s. free shuttle bus to canton fair was not helpful as it goes out very early at 8 & 8:10 am (I think most booth weren’t ready until around 10. And the coming back was so late at 5:50/ 6 pm. The fair closes around 4+. And the bus parks at area D where the rest of other hotel buses were at area A. The walk from area a to D is very far. So A A during my stay I did not use the bus. I really hope the hotel improves the timing for next year. Perhaps one early & one late to accommodate not only the booth owners but also the fair visitors.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Guangzhou, China, based on a recommendation from my cousin who had visited a few months earlier. I’m pleased to give this hotel a full thumbs up. My positive experience began with Miranda at check-in, who was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making the process smooth and effortless. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. To top it all off, Miranda assisted me again during checkout to reverse the security deposit, completing my stay on a high note.

It was relaxing, the hotel was relatively clean, and the bed was made every day. The breakfast could have had more variety, but overall, it was okay. I would recommend this hotel if someone needs a place to unwind. The surrounding area has mostly local Chinese shops, with the mall about a 25-minute drive. However, if one enjoys using the subway, it's a feet away. Exit the hotel, then turn right, cross 2 intersections at the stoplights, then make a left, and you'll find it. The bus terminal is also near the subway entrance.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful hotel. Room view with CBD city view with Canton Tower. Superb convenient travel any where as the MRT Station entrance just right beside the hotel. Highly recommend, very satisfy.

A well-designed hotel with a good location, parking lot, and many surrounding attractions. It is very convenient to travel. The hotel is in a very good location. The room is controlled by smart appliances and has good sound insulation. When checking out, you will be asked about your check-in experience. I will follow up on customer feedback and it’s really good to summarize it. The price is also very suitable.

We went there as a couple for business travel during Canton fair. We were pleased of the service level, comfortable rooms and really nice breakfast. We will come again.

Great hotel to stay. Special mention to the front desk staff very helpful in sorting out details and providing any extra help needed. Rooms are spacious enough to be clean and well decorated. However, the bath towels were a bit old and even had holes and were pilling.

Too noisy! The sounds like someone moving furniture came from the above floor after 12pm every single night. 2am, 4am you name it and really disrupted my sleep for 4 nights in a row. Thin wall you could hear people talking 2-3am in the morning. Seriously! Some people are just inconsiderate and disrespectful for other guests. Hotel staff are OK but not as friendly as other hotels. The idea of sending a wechat pleading to give them a 5 star review after not even 24hours staying there is absurd. I got asked 3 times to give them a 5 star review. If you are exceptionally good and service tip top, you dont need to beg customers for good feedback. Some of them were not willing to use translation app when i asked a question and rather responding in Mandarin assuming i understood what she was saying? Really?

Very good location and very close to everything. It’s not on the main road and very quiet but just so easy to get around: shops, department stores, restaurants, banks, buses stop and subway stations. Room and bathroom facilities are very good. Staffs are very polite and great help especially the housekeeper lady on the 12F. Nice coffee and tea mechanic at the reception. Only one disadvantage is: people smoking in the front entrance. So if could set up the smoking area a few meters away from the entrance. That would be 100% 👍 Very happy staying and will be back soon.
