Amazing

Location: The city center, the main attractions are on the left, and it is very convenient to take T1
Room: There are large windows, enough space, enough water and heat, clean
Breakfast: The cafeteria on the top floor, facing the Blue Temple with beautiful scenery, basic food choices
Go again next time!

I had already stayed for two days, epro booked again for 6 more days, I was delighted with the hotel, the hotel is very well located, the dining room has a nice view of the most important mosques, the transportation is well located since the line is from metro 1, it is also close to the Marmara metro and Eminonu, you can walk to the Spice Bazaar or Egyptian Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar, it also has the most important museums and the Basilica cistern, they have an elevator and the staff is very attentive For whatever I need, in fact they advised me on purchases, when I return to Istanbul I will stay there for sure.

The very center of the city. Starting this year, you can get there by metro + tram connection with transfers.
The view from the dining room to the Blue Mosque brightens up the morning. Breakfast buffet, there is a coffee machine.
The rooms are small and a bit tired. The beds are compact (with a height of 180+ you won’t be able to stretch out, but this doesn’t interfere much). Own bathroom and toilet. There is a safe, a wardrobe and a tea set.
The staff is nice. No problem they let me use the room to store my luggage after check out...
There are cons, but the price and other pluses cover them. If the goal is to explore the city and not overpay - a great option

Best location. Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia are just few yards away. Istanbul famous Sultanahmet Köftecisi is just next door. Sultanahmet tram station is just 3 minutes walk. Mr Ahmed (the owner) is very helpful. Just one drawback is that rooms on the left side of the lifts are a bit noisy due to AC plant. Roof top breakfast.

Greeted by a wonderful cheerful reception Great room with a great view of the blue mosque Clean room with all the amenities you need. Comfortable beds Wonderful buffet breakfast with many options Hotel has a small lift to take you and your luggage to your room saves using the stairs A few mins from the major attractions of Istanbul One concern that taxi's pickups/dropoffs cannot happen outside of this hotel as its entrance is on the metro line. The location for drop off or pick up is on the side street. Hotel can advise of exact location.

My friend left her gold ring in the bedroom and it was not there when we got back to the room. We talked to the reception and in the next morning we talked to everyone at the hotel. No one knew and honestly no one seemed to care much about the situation. We know we shouldn't leave valuable items in the bedroom but it was forgotten. It turned out to be a great opportunity for someone with no honesty. But shouldn't the hotel be accountable for its staff? Awfull experience

the price you pay for this hotel is not worth the money. go somewhere else. if not because of the location, i think people will think twice to book this hotel. the receptionist is not friendly as well.

the only good thing about this hotel is the location. nearby attractions. if u bring family with kids with lots of luggage, bear in mind, uber/taxi do not stop in front of this hotel. because it is tram railway in front of the road. also, even you book online and make payment online, the hotel will cancel the online payment and you will need to prepare cash payment at the counter. i felt this is not appropriate for tourist.

This hotel is one of my favorite during my vacation in Turkiye. Why? 1. Comfortable, easy access, and nice surrounding around Sultanahmet area in Istanbul 2. I’ve stay here for the second time this year and still I meet a good, warm, friendly staff Altin, Yasin, Sherhat, and Nurhan. Thanks to them for make my stay even more comfortable 3. Last but not least, you’ll paid what’s it worth if you choose this hotel. All time makes mylife easier, Sultanahmet Tramvay is the pin point to reach this hotel so you knew how happy I am
Response from Property: Hi İrina, Thanks a lots for your nice comment about our hotel. We all were so happy to accommodating you here again. You and your friend are such warm persons and we had a good time to having you here. We hope to accommodating you here again. Friendly Regards, Altin Diko

We booked this hotel due to the location. It's opposite the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sofia. While I knew it was a simple 3* hotel and a budget one at that I wasn't expecting it to be so run down. The staff are NOT friendly at all. They don't greet guests, smile or show friendliness. I knew the rooms would be small but they're REALLY small! The 1st 1 they showed us had no space to place our 2 suitcases let alone anything else. We paid extra to get a slightly bigger room. The decor is very run down. Walls have stains & marks on them. The bedding is old and discoloured. The pillows smell. Yet nobody cares if you mention it Our room had a broken metal floor plane by the door- someone could easily trip. The toilet seat moves and could break at any point! When we checked in we showed it to the staff incase they later say we did it & ask us to pay.The response was 'You can go to another hotel if you don't like it' No apologies or words of rectifying it! Everything in the room is run down & tatty. The only plus is the views from the breakfast terrace and the closeness to the Blue Mosque. Yes we paid less than other hotels but we expect cleanliness and positive response when we raise concerns Do not book this hotel

This hotel has been neglected for years. As a long-term guest, (6 months), I found:- 1) Large holes in bedding. New bedding in Turkey does not cost much. 2) Damp in every bathroom. This hotel needs extractor fans in all bathrooms. 3) The ceiling in my room was shedding plaster due to damp from the roof. I don't like cups of tea with plaster in them. 4) The sockets actually destroyed the plug on my phone recharger twice. The electrical circuit throughout the hotel needs replacing by a properly qualified electrician before someone has a major electrical shock. 5) Some of the staff actually work seven days a week. Under Turkish law this is illegal. 6) The terrace looks a complete mess. It needs resurfacing by a professional company. The conservatory on the terrace is dirty and freezing cold in winter. This is part of the designated smoking area along with the terrace. 7) There is no security of any kind. Anybody can just wander in and do as they please. Psycho? 8) The hot water was in short supply. 9) This is not a three star hotel in world terms. A professional hotel inspector would give it at most one and a half to two stars. 10)The view of Hagia Sophia is stunning but the internal complaints that are not dealt with put you off completely. I wish that hotels would give an accurate description, I.e. better left to people who are not in the least discerning.

We reserved this hotel and when we arrived, out room was like a prison with no windows. The towels were dirty and the staff were arrogant. Then we asked them to change our room but they said if you are not happy, you can leave!!! The conditioner was broken and there was no hot water. Lots of insects in the rooms and also, the staff were talking loudly so you have to wake up 6:00AM. Please avoid this hotel and search for another place. It was a disaster for us.

It is the seventh time I went, it is already my place, it is in the heart of Istanbul, close to everything!!!! Its people are very attentive, the breakfast is delicious with a nice view of the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque, some rooms overlook on the street with unique views of the mosque, the hippodrome and the Bosphorus, it is a very functional hotel, you can walk to the main tourist centers!!!!
