I felt a urge to sleep in the desert under the stars and initially i was supposed to stay at the camp with a friend but due to some circumstances i ended up going alone. I kept the big deluxe room with AC for myself. If you plan to stay at the Camp during the day i would recommend AC during hot season. The room was very nice and i even had a bathtub. The bed was very comfortable and i liked the shower gel and body cream provided. I had a water boiler to make my coffee but room service was also available. The water pressure and the pool are amazing. They have to bring all the water from outside by Water tank. Pure luxury! The stuff was very friendly and the food was all vegetarian and very tasty. The first day i went to the desert for the sunset. As it was on Saturday and during festive days, there where many Indian Tourists, enjoying Jeep tours, Camel riding and Sand car riding. For me that was not what i was looking for but the people around me loved it. When i told, that i missed the peace out there, they organized a stargazing the very same evening just for me. It was so peaceful and i enjoyed it alot. The thought of sleeping outside was still there but i was a little concerned about security. The next day i was asked if i wanted to sleep under the stars and i agreed out of gut feeling, as my companion seemed to be trustworthy. Finally i slept on a simple mattress with bedsheet, cushion and blanket in the sanddunes a bit more abroad in the middle of nowhere und the stars. I had a amazing time and i slept like a baby. In the morning i enjoyed the sunrise and we went back. I was even able to store my luggage during the day in their Hotel in Jaisalmer, so i could spend my day sightseeing and take the bus in the evening. All in all a great experience and i felt like the stuff and management do everything to make you feel comfortable! I highly recommend and want to give a big thank you again!
