3-Star Hotels in Los Angeles

We chose this hotel because it had a shuttle service from the airport. We were arriving from China after a 20+ hour trip. The shuttle bus driver was very helpful in both directions. However, I am giving this a 1 star review because they scammed us out of $44. As I said before we used the shuttle bus service and did NOT have a car. As we checked in we told the receptionist at the registration desk that we did not have a car two times. We even asked about the shuttle for the next day. We were very tired and jet lagged so when they gave us the paperwork to sign we didn't read it over thoroughly and just signed our name at the bottom like we have done hundreds of times at other hotels. A few days after leaving we saw that they had charged us $44. We called them to find out why and they said it was for parking. They told us there was nothing they could do about it because we had signed the form. We asked to talk to a manager and they put us on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on us. The person we spoke to on the phone was rude and clearly had no sense for customer service. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before and it has always been a pleasant experience but this location has some serious issues.

Hotel was nice. Reception was very friendly, check-in was fast and the room was spacious and clean. There was a great restaurant/bar on the lobby level with an excellent bartender. Also a self checkout convenience store with snacks and essentials which was a grear feature. The only blemish was that the multi gym machine was out of order - cables all pulled out and obviously in the process of being repaired. Given that it was just that machine and a rack of dumbbells for strength training, it made the gym far less usable.

The hotel was clean, and the bathroom was clean, too. It would have been better if there was a table inside, but maybe it’s because I chose a small room ha ha.

Everything was great so I was staying another night and I was told okay but when I went to desk I was told no! Manager was very dry and ugly personality in my opinion!

The hotel has convenient transportation and is close to Little Tokyo. Downstairs is the famous ramen, so you don't have to worry about eating. The staff at the counter are friendly, the room is clean, and the amenities are Aveda series products, disposable toilets, mineral water and cotton slippers are provided in American hotels, and the eyes are bright. I can only say that Japanese restaurants are more considerate! The disadvantage is that the hotel has to pay 45 yuan per night for the parking space. Because the parking space is insufficient, each car is parked very close to each other. And considering the people's sentiments, we will pay tips every time, and the cost of going in and out will increase a lot!

I like the room interior very much. Antique and nice. It was like coming to a cafe. The room is clean and the location is 5 minutes by car. I would like to visit if I go back.

overall service was good, the design was modern, and staff was helpful. Mr. Beymar was very helpful when i complaint about the noise from bar downstairs past midnite throughout the 3 nites, he requested a refund and i got the refund processed smoothly. the valet parking was a bit odd. it was diagonally across the road, and we had to drive it over (instead the valet person picking it up. we could have easily parked ourselves (without having to have a valet person did it for a 5-step away parking and having to give tips). room was a bit tight for 2 people (not much space left for luggages), but overall not too bad.

Too expensive for thus type of motel. It’s not a hotel. Too noisy, the rooms face the swimming pool s d there always people seining and making noise. The rooms face the aisle and you can’t have the window open because everyone that goes by sees you., and you don’t have privación.

The room is very clean and tidy, the space is not small The front desk customer service is very friendly and polite Breakfast is very simple bread I live opposite a high school. Easy to eat and shop Next to a Mexican restaurant There is also a big 7-11 supermarket Within 20 minutes walk to the CBD area 16 bus is easier to reach

This is our second time staying at this beautiful property Residence Inn LA Live .. and we always loved our stay! Our room was large, very neat, comfortable and have a wonderful city view. Staff were very accomodating and granted our request for a room on higher floor with tub. The only minor issues during our stay were AC not cooling enough, and kitchen sink light & exhaust not working. It was resolved it right away after addressing it to the guest services. Housekeeping service was amazing. Our room is always tidy whenever we return to our room. Thank you so much! We loved the free breakfast every morning. Valet parking was runned by a third party and it’s a first come first served basis. We felt rushed whenever we unload our belongings. Anyways, we would definitely return in the future.
