Charming hotel, chic bar, great location - if you’re looking for nightlife and style combined this is a great place. Rooms are not large but this is NYC as is custom!

very bad! There is only croissant for breakfast, which is the same every day. The room is surprisingly small, and the attitude of the front desk is extremely bad. They ignore you. There is no mineral water in the key room. You have to go to the front desk to ask for it every time. It's really stupid! There is not even a movable shower in the rain room! Why is this kind of hotel not closed yet!

I love this hotel. Booking hotels really stresses me out. I always worry that it won’t be as advertised. Thank goodness I found The Frederick. A friend recommended it and I’ve now stayed there twice. I like the location. I like the hotel. I love the vibe. Easy access to a Starbucks and the subway. The neighborhood is pretty quiet at night.   My most recent visit was just a quick 1 night stay but I wished I could stay longer. One of my fav things is that the room AC works very well and my room gets nice and cold…I love a cold hotel room.  The bathrooms have cool map tile work in the showers. It isn’t noisy. Like I don’t hear people next door or milling about in the hallway.   Mery checked me in and she was lovely. Honestly, everyone I’ve ever interacted with has been delightful.  I just love the coziness of a boutique hotel.

The hotel is one of the most comfortable, if not most comfortable, sleeps I have ever gotten in a hotel. It is extremely quiet and the bed is so comfortable I felt the need to try and find out which pillow brand they use - the deepest sleep! Not to mention, the staff are always at the ready to help with their charm and friendliness. Joanne, Musa, and David are wonderful staff! They helped me with something that normally hotel staff wouldn't, but they went the extra mile to do it and make my stay even more comfortable.

Such a gem. I love this hotel and want to keep it a secret but have told all my friends about it. It’s in the perfect spot downtown; clean, comfortable and just what you need when visiting the city. They’ve got great staff and all go above and beyond to help you.   Rhys, who is the front desk manager, is their secret weapon. He went out of his way to help me book a reservation, gave us an upgrade and checked on us periodically throughout our stay. He’s helped me numerous times - each time I stay - and I am so thankful!
