Best Pet Friendly Hotels in Raleigh

It was not a bad place to stay, though we only ate three times for breakfast, 1 the last day which was free due to plane cancelation so they gave my daughter and I free breakfast but the other two times were 1 comp'd that a friend received for three people in which the other was paid for by a friend. Needless to say, I got charged $45 for one day of the breakfast which likely was because the waitress made us put our room #, though she said she understood our meals were comp'd. Sadly even after calling the hotel, speaking to one person who then sent me to the finance manager whom I left a message with but still hasn't called back in almost a week. Frustrating to say the least.

The front desk staff are always very friendly whenever I come to stay. Housekeeping tends to open my door before I can answer to their knock, they barely give me any time to respond before barging in. On my last day, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9am and proceeded to come on with little to no time to respond. Checkout wasn’t until 11-12 so I don’t understand why they had even come that early. The cleanliness of this hotel is always a hit or miss. My last stay, I noticed that there were orange stains all over the bedding and I didn’t notice until after I’d already slept in the bed.

The best location to go to NC State. Most facilities such as the student center can be easily reached on foot or by shuttle bus. The hotel has a bar and coffee shop, as well as an excellent Mexican restaurant. A supermarket is less than 5 minutes away, and there is a subway restaurant and a shopping mall nearby.

This hotel tries to be modernist. However, many things and services don't meet the standards. My husband and I are staying in this hotel. On the first day, there was no cleaning service. The housekeeping staff locked our door, and when I asked her to come back in 2 hours, she never did. You should also check your room for cleanliness. I found many small dirt spots on the floor, and the room was not cleaned during our 4-night stay. If you are a more traditional traveler, this hotel does not have a closet or dresser for you to put clothes in. Basically, you are living out of your suitcase. If you are staying for just a day or two, it might be fine, but for three or more days with a spouse, I would not recommend it. The hotel restaurant is called ”GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT.” If you go there for breakfast, your ”GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT” will turn into a bad day. We left the restaurant completely disappointed and hungry. If this is a Marriott hotel chain, what is the Marriott standard for this particular hotel? My husband and I went to the restaurant for breakfast on the day we checked out. The server was nice and friendly. She took our order for coffee but tried to avoid taking our breakfast order because the chef instructed her not to take orders until he was ready. However, we waited for more than 20 minutes and tried to get her attention for our order. That's when we found out the situation. We were completely shocked.

If I could give this location a negative 5 if I would. Please do not stay here people. FAIR WARNING This was the worst experience I've had in a hotel motel or nay kind of Inn. stayed at Red Roof for Dreamville in early April and this was the only ”affordable place.” As I look at the current prices per day I see that due to the event, prices were gouged by a large margin. That's not the surprise. This place was infested with roaches and ants. There was rust and peeling paint in numerous locations in the room and sounds coming from the lights. There were serious smells coming from the room like mildew or old over used furniture. The photos in the advertisement are FALSE and give the appearance of something better than it is. I have photos and videos in which i will post if this issue is not resolved. The staff was not present the whole weekend until Monday morning when I checked out and had to fly back home. As someone who has worked in hospitality and hotels for 15 years a full refund should have been offered but instead a very low and unacceptable one was offered. When I refused all communication from their end stopped and I was forced to battle this with my bank. Please advise this company breaks its own policy and does not rectify the situations being made aware by the guest, paying to stay there. Please do not stay here people. If it was an option, I would rate the experience a negative 10. First - flight arrived at 12:30am and couldn't get a shuttle ride from airport to hotel. Called about 20 times and no answer. Had to pay for an Uber ride to get to the hotel. Second - in the morning, finish taking a shower and find out there are no bath towels. Had to use a hand size towel. Explained this to staff at check out and the response was ”oh, we're sorry”. After this experience, I will never stay at an Aloft hotel again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The manager came to my rescue, and ran off a person who was not a guest, but was trying to make me get him a job with my company. They also allowed me to store my travel chest after check out, while at my last day of the convention. Since I had temperature sensitive items in the chest. But the hotel was not good. First thing, we paid extra for early check in. Only to get a room with a huge hole in the wall next to the door. The manager was aware of it, but nothing was done. So we paid extra for a defective room. The bathroom was kinda gross. Built up grime and mold on the walls and floors. The Roaches we saw running around, was an issue.

My husband and I had a great stay. So we stayed a 2nd night. Very safe close to a wal mart and places to eat. The beds are very comfortable and thebroom was very clean. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for a safe and quite stay.

One of my favorite hotels in Raleigh $50 deposit no bugs no loud people outside. It’s a very chill spot right beside Denny’s and Bahama breeze.
