Ridgeway Motels

We stayed two nights here as it is walking distance from the Nascar track. We picked it for its location, not amenities, and were pleasantly surprised all around. The room was sparkling clean and smelled great. It had a fridge, couch, microwave and even a jacuzzi tub (I think they upgraded us). The bed, towels, sheets were all decent quality. The motel felt safe and we never heard any of our neighbors. The office provided a better than expected continental breakfast, including breakfast sandwiches. They had coffee, tea and a variety of snacks available all day. What really stood out was the friendly service from the management. The owner was incredibly nice. He walked around and checked on everyone in the afternoon to see if we needed anything. I asked for an extra pillow and he said he'd do what he could, as the motel was sold out for the race. About an hour later the owner's family shows up with brand new pillows from the store! I don't think they'd do that at a 5 star resort! The blonde guy behind the front desk was also super friendly. He gave us some recommendations for a local hike. We would 10/10 stay again for the race.
