Musicals week on Strictly Come Dancing saw the celebrities stepping up their game for a place in the semi-final.
All six remaining couples performed a routine to a hit from a musical, while the professionals took to the dancefloor with performances from the shows Little Shop of Horrors and Sunset Boulevard.
By the end of Saturday’s show, just one point separated the top three couples on the leaderboard while one partnership found themselves lagging more than 10 points behind the frontrunners.
Sadly, dreams of making it to the the semi-finals were dashed for one celebrity and their partner in a tense dance-off leaving just five heading into the semi-final.
Who was voted off Strictly Come Dancing last night?
Olympian and Gladiator Montell Douglas became the tenth celebrity to be voted off the show after the dance-off on Sunday night.
The 38-year-old performed a rumba with professional partner Johannes Radebe to “I’m Here” from show The Color Purple.
Judges gave the couple a score of 32 out of 40 for their routine. Anton Du Beke said of the dance: “I thought that was an incredibly powerful, emotional performance, which is what this story was all about.
“You made a choice, I like the choices you made, that was a wonderful, wonderful performance.”
But they still found themselves in the bottom two and the dance-off after the public vote.
And after performing their rumba for the second time, the judges decided unanimously it was time for the former Olympian to leave.
The Gladiator said her time on Strictly had “touched me in ways I never knew possible”
She said: “I’m an Olympian and a Gladiator but I have honestly struggled with confidence my whole life and being on the show, with the beautiful crew, the judges, the cast, has just been such an honour.”
Her professional partner Radebe praised Douglas for her dedication to dance: “I am so proud of you (Montell), because you are a non-dancer.
“But the one thing that you have done every single week is turn out beautiful dancing.
“So I want to say to you, thank you for respecting our art form of ballroom and latin.
“The way you handled it was like a true pro. You’re my winner.”
Returning the compliment, she said Radebe had become “a friend and a brother” and she hoped “he’s in my life forever, because we have something very special.”
Who was in the dance off?
Douglas and Radebe were up against former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec in the dance-off on Sunday night.
All four judges expressed their surprise that either celebrity was in this position after their performances on Saturday night.
Ghouri and Skorjanec performed an Argentine tango to “Ex-Wives” from the musical Six.
The routine had scored 38 points on Saturday night, putting them in joint second place with actress Sarah Hadland and her professional partner Vito Coppola.
Nonetheless, they found themselves in the bottom two after the public vote for the first time this series.

What happened on Strictly last weekend?
JLS singer and presenter JB Gill secured the top place on the leaderboard on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, with both Ghouri and Škorjanec and Hadland and Coppola in joint second.
Gill’s waltz to “Let’s Go Fly A Kite” from Mary Poppins scored a near perfect 39 points from the judges, with Craig Revel Horwood’s only complaint about the routine targeted at Gill’s thumb.
Judge Anton Du Beke said of the performance: “I remember in 2014, I danced this number with the wonderful Judy Murray at Blackpool, and you were almost as good as that.
“We got voted off that night, but I don’t think that will happen to you.
“You were practically perfect in every possible way, the best dance of the night.”
Model and former Love Island contestant Ghouri took second place with 38 points, a position jointly shared by actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola for their charleston to “Popular” from the musical “Wicked”.
