As a former Traitor myself, I am loving watching this new series. I have my favourite Faithfuls and I know which Traitor is playing the game best, but I think Paul and Harry made a big mistake turning on fellow traitor Ash, who was banished at the round table this week.

In the early stages, it’s important for Traitors to stick together and vote as a pack. Backstabbing is a part of it, of course, but it shouldn’t be happening until much later in the game. Nonetheless, I’m convinced the Traitors (or perhaps just one) are going to win the series. Here’s why.

I thought I was ruthless, but Paul is something else. He’s so incredible to watch and doesn’t seem to be letting his emotions get in the way at all, which is something I struggled with. He’s gone in to win and has managed to condition his mind to know its just a game. He could win the whole thing but he does need to rein it in and not get overly confident. I hope the surprise votes he’s receiving will be enough for him to calm down.

Harry is a great Traitor and was one of my ones to watch from the beginning. If he keeps playing the game the way he is he is also a potential winner because he’s saying just the right amount: not too much but not too little. The only slight issue I’m seeing is that he’s got the potential to panic and plant too many seeds. If he starts dropping too many names to too many different people, it could catch up with him and arouse suspicion.

Traitor Harry

Having said all of that – my winning Traitor is 100 per cent Miles. He is playing the game so perfectly that as a viewer I sometimes forget he’s a Traitor. He is using one of the strategies I used which was – don’t be the person to plant the seed, be the person to water it.

Miles seems like such a kind person and when it comes to making difficult decisions in the future he could have some moral conflicts, which will make fantastic viewing. There will come a time when the finger is pointed at him, as it happens to everyone at some point. If he defends himself well he will sail to the final and win.

As for Faithfuls, my standouts are Diane, Ross and Zack.

Diane’s great to watch and is not scared to say what is on her mind, which makes for great TV, but I don’t think she’ll last beyond episode 7. This might be controversial, but I think she will be banished at the round table, with her son Ross being someone who votes her out.

Ross is an exceptionally good Faithful and will do anything to win. And I don’t think the secret of their relationship will ever be discovered. Only when the last one of the duo is banished will they reveal it at the same time as announcing “I am a Faithful”.

I don’t think he’ll win, but I love Zach. I find him so entertaining to watch with his witty comments and wind-up attitude that he can’t switch off. Overall, although I think the Faithfuls are doing an okay job, I have feeling they are going to go on a streak of banishing other Faithfuls in the next week.

It has been so fun watching the new series and now I understand why everyone was so obsessed with series one. I absolutely loved being a part of it, even though it was mentally, physically and emotionally draining.

I remember the first time I walked into the castle it genuinely felt like I was being sucked into a board game. It was magical and mysterious, but somehow I felt at home.

The only room I wasn’t a fan of was the room with the round table. I have never felt such suspense in my life – the constant fear of your name being mentioned. That’s the reason I left Maddy in. Every time she mentioned my name people would laugh, but if I got rid of her and someone else said my name it would have been taken more seriously.

The only things I didn’t like about the experience were the breakfasts, and watching people’s reactions to the contestants I murdered. It does riddle you with guilt, even though it’s just a game.

If I got the opportunity to try it again, I’d want to be a Faithful. My strategy would be to stay really close to who I think are Traitors – befriend them and defend them, so they keep me in. But when it comes down to it – anything can happen. It’s all well and good having a game plan, but if everything went smoothly, it wouldn’t be as thrilling to watch.
