AbstractAbstract
[en] The author gives a chronological account of the research about thermonuclear fusion and presents the principle of JET thermonuclear reactor based upon the magnetic confinement. The problems of heating and confining a thermonuclear plasma may be regarded as solved. They make possible the definition of the size and geometry needed to realize a next-step tokamak (ITER, NET projects)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Over two centuries ago, chemical classification has witnessed surprising variations and we live their last stages. Physicists have shown, over the last years, ingenuity towards the filling of the final empty spaces of Mendeleev table. The created elements disappear after its formation in the millisecond range period. Their identification hasn't been easy. The author explains the investigation methods that have been used and presents the principle of a heavy ion separator by speed selection. The physicists have found that the family behaviour elements is the trans actinides family

AbstractAbstract
[en] Since the discovery of natural radioactivity by Becquerel, various radioactive decay modes were found: leptonic decay (β+, β- and electron capture decay) and hadronic decay (α decay, proton emission decay and fragmentation). The exotic radioactivities take place between fission and α decay or proton emission. The author presents the different steps of the discovery of 14C emission decay of 223Ra. Two mechanisms are proposed to interpret this heavy ion emission: 14C cluster preformation in 223Ra nucleus or superasymmetry fission of 223Ra nucleus. Experiments performed with SOLENO, a magnetic spectrometer are presented
