AbstractAbstract
[en] The progress of nuclear instruments and their applications in China's industries have been greatly dependent on the development of social economy. In recent years, the economy in China demanded an increasing application of industrial nuclear instruments. The reliability of system performance and its adaptability are prerequisites to ensure widespread application in industry. Over 40 years, a sound foundation was created for the development of nuclear instruments and their application, which are briefly described in this paper. The establishment of a comprehensive nuclear industrial system and skilled technical teams is also considered of a great value. The international cooperation and technical exchange between China and other countries has provided further opportunities to absorb new concepts, new ideas and new technology for upgrading current products and shorten the gap with the developed countries. 2 tabs
