[en] An appropriate procedure of how to solve the two-dimensional Dirichlet problem outside of an arbitrary given one-bound and the two-bound symmetric domains is developed. [en] It has been proved that a finite point-like charge in an infinite, two species, 3-D plasma in Boltzmann equilibrium does not produce any electric field, but rather a mere charge separation of equal value and opposite sign neutralizing the point-like charge. Here, a particularly simple proof of this result is presented: we show that any non-trivial solution of the Debye-Poisson problem for a point-like charge corresponds to an infinite value of the charge itself.
