AbstractAbstract
[en] Mass is one of the most fundamental properties that can be obtained about an atomic nucleus. High-accuracy mass values for atoms let us study the atomic and nuclear binding energies that represent the sum of all the atomic and nucleonic interactions. Looking on the history of nuclear masses, it can be found that it is almost as old as that of nuclear physics itself. The experimental methods for masses and the relevant outcomes are so rich that the evaluation is needed to check the consistency among the various results and obtain more reliable data. The atomic mass evaluation is a considerate and complicated process. This paper introduces briefly the history and status of atomic mass measurement and evaluation. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Shield optimization design is always interesting and difficult problem in nuclear radiation field. Especially in a mixed field, data-base must be built which will cost lots of time, even the intelligent algorithm is adopted, because the processing include synthetical shielding effect is estimated, more over there are quite broad energy profile for incident particle. In this paper, the uniform design which is derived from statistical experiment is applied in shield design of nuclear radiation field, the method is indicated excellent through the optimization design of pinhole collimator for the gamma imaging, and the method may be preferred for the shield optimization design. AbstractAbstract
[en] Pu material can generate surface corrosion and self-radiation effect during storage, in order to study these aging behavior, DMol3 program was adopted to simulate property of the (100) surface of γ-Pu, such as band structure, density of states, electrostatic potential and Fukui function fields under the generalized gradient approximation(GGA) of the density functional theory(DFT). The calculation results provide technical support for studying the chemisorptions of γ-Pu with H2 and O2, etc. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The ONO antifuse configuration was discribed. The Conduction mechanism of electron-hole pairs due to ionizing in the ONO material was analyzed. The TID(Total Ionizing Dose) Radiation performance of ONO antifuse FPGA (A1460A and A40MX04) were test ,the current as a function of total dose and function failure point were obtained. All of results proved that this ONO antifuse have better TID performance than general single SiO2. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] By reviewing the property of the radiative shock Rankine-Huguoniot relations for different values of the net radiative flux to the pre-shock and plotting the Rayleigh and Hugoniot relations at the plane, we find that the branches of the hyperbolic (Hugoniot locus) will present an abrupt change that its two top-right and down-left branches will change to down-right and top-left ones if the net radiative flux to the pre-shock larger than a certain value, and we define t such a value as the threshold of the net radiative flux to the pre-shock. The change will result in a compression ratio larger than for ideal gases with index. We also demonstrate the effect of the radiative flux on the compression ratio with radiation hydrodynamics code RDMG. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] With the high speed development of digital signal process, the technique of the digitization and processing of signals was applied in the domain of a broad class of nuclear technique. The development of digital positron lifetime spectrometer (DPLS) is more promising than the conventional positron lifetime spectrometer equipped with nuclear instrument modules. And digital lifetime spectrometer has many advantages, such as low noise, long term stability, flexible online or offline digital processing, simple setup, low expense, easy to setting, and more physical information. Digital constant fraction discrimination is for timing. And a new method of optimizing energy windows setting for digital positron lifetime spectrometer is also developed employing the simulated annealing for the convenient use. The time resolution is 220ps and the count rate is 200cps. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In relation to world's growing energy demands and concerns on global warming, nuclear energy as a sustainable resource is in its new period of renaissance. This is reflected in the record number of 447 papers on the International Conference on the Physics of Reactors--PHYSOR'08 held in Switzerland in 2008. The contents of these papers include the developments and frontiers in various directions of reactor physics. Featured by vast area of subjects, these emphasize the fact that the scope of the reactor physicist's R and D interests has expands considerably in recent years. The main keynote addresses and technical plenary lectures are briefly introduced. Some items concerned by the conference, such as: the status and perspective of nuclear energy's R and D, deployment and policy in main nuclear nations, the potential role of nuclear energy in mitigation global warming and slow down the GHG release, the sustainability of resource for nuclear energy utilization. Status and outlook about the needs of research and test facilities required in nuclear energy development, etc. are discussed. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Support vector machine (SVM) is a learning machine based on statistical learning theory, which can get a model having good generalization. It can solve 'learning more' when dealing with small size. It can also avoid 'dimensional disaster' when solving nonlinear problems. This paper works on the parameters optimization for support vector regression machine (SVRM) and its applications. Solution path algorithm can save much CPU time when it is employed to optimize the regularization parameter of SVRM. Simulated annealing algorithm has good ability of finding global optimal solution. An improved solution path algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm are combined to optimize parameters of SVRM in the regression analysis of the acoustic and vibration data for complex practical problems. The numerical results show the model has good predictive capability. (authors)
