AbstractAbstract
[en] The two-dimensional program for the network survey using Schreiber method is written in FBASIC language. It is useful for the survey and simulation because also the graphics results is get at the same time. The memory and speed of PC are improved very much now. Furthermore this program is improved from BASIC language to Excel VBA. After the parameters and survey data are filled in the column of the Excel sheet the calculated results continued in the lower lines by applying Excel VBA (Visual Basic Application). This program can calculate also the relative error ellipse, which is much important to the accelerator. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In fiscal year 2014 the achieved user operation time amounts 4057 hours 48 minutes compared with the scheduled 4080 hours, whose availability is 99.46%, the best record. Owing to the stable beam injection of the Top-up operation, fluctuation of the stored current is kept under 0.1% (usual 0.03%) over 99% of user time. In this paper, the status of the operation of the SPring-8 accelerators and the beam performance are reviewed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The design work for an upgrade project of the SPring-8, the SPring-8-II, is in progress, where a 5BA lattice with the longitudinally varying bending magnets has been adopted. The nonlinear optics has been optimized based on the Hamiltonian analyses with the interleaved sextupole magnets. The nonlinear resonances caused for on-momentum and off-momentum particles and the nonlinear dispersion function has simultaneously been corrected for enlarging the off-momentum dynamic-aperture. AbstractAbstract
[en] We developed two types of pneumatically driven mechanisms mounting photo diode sensors to replace the manually driven one. These units make it possible to measure the position of linac girders automatically and successively. The position accuracy and the reproducibility of the sensor mount are evaluated by a three-dimensional coordinate measuring machine. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We newly develop a Y-junction circulator as a high-power component. Experiments of the X-band circulator are conducted with a high power source at 9.3 GHz and it withstands 1.1 MW peak power; 0.4 kW of average power. In order to reduce the maximum electric field intensity, we separate two ferrites with large gap. The design was a challenging task since we normally create wide-band circulator with small gap of ferrites. 3D EM simulation was performed in order to overcome those design limitations. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Recent years, in J-PARC MR, commercial amplifiers provided by NF Corporation have been introduced, and used as small power-supplies for pattern magnets. They are good enough for the performance, but their behaviors at remote-control, behaviors at interlock failures, did not match the J-PARC's control policy. Thus, we have developed junction control layers between amplifiers and the J-PARC MR control system. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Now, many thyratrons still have been applied to klystron modulator as high voltage and big current switch, once several presentations of replacement to semi-conductor switch were proposed in the past. It is very important for modulator to apply semi-conductor switch, its stable operation and requirement of little maintenance. We have developed an alternative semi-conductor switch for thyratron and the outline is mentioned in this time. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Longitudinal dependent transverse beam profile measurement is realized with a newly developed quasi-3D profile monitor which is modified from the multi-wire grid based profile monitor. With the beam profile measured at a region where a definite value of disperse function exists, the longitudinal energy difference can be evaluated. In this paper, the longitudinal momentum deviation for a low energy heavy ion beam due to the beam loading effects happened at two locations have been discussed with experimental measurements simulation results: (1) the extraction gap of an Electron Cyclotron Resonance Ion Source (ECRIS); (2) the post-acceleration column of the high voltage platform which the ECRIS is embedded in. AbstractAbstract
[en] We have developed a multialkali photocathode preparation system at JAEA to demonstrate high current operation of a dc photocathode gun. Quantum efficiency of 0.37% at 532 nm was obtained for a Cs_3Sb photocathode. The preparation system was connected to a photocathode gun equipped with a 250 kV-50 mA Cockcroft Walton high voltage power supply. The gun was high voltage conditioned up to 230 kV without a central stem electrode. Beam generation test from the multialkali photocathode is scheduled to be performed by the end of FY2015. (author)
