AbstractAbstract

[en] Finite-temperature Hartree-Fock calculations in ²⁴Mg seem to indicate that the lowest-lying prolate, oblate and spherical solutions exhibit unexpected structure in the internal energy at T≅(0.5/1.0) MeV. For these solutions the ensemble average of the centre-of-mass kinetic-energy operator exhibit similar structure in the same temperature range, which leads us to believe that the centre of mass is not necessary thermally quiescent
