AbstractAbstract
[en] Here, we smore » how a measurement of the C P -violation parameter φ 1 obtained in a time-dependent analysis of B 0 → D ¯ (*) 0 h 0 decays followed by D ¯ 0 → K S 0 π + π - decay. A model-independent measurement is performed using the binned Dalitz plot technique. The measured value is φ 1 = 11.7 ° ± 7.8 ° (stat) ± 2.1 ° (syst) . Treating sin 2 φ 1 and cos 2 φ 1 as independent parameters, we obtain sin 2 φ 1 = 0.43 ± 0.27 (stat) ± 0.08 (syst) and cos 2 φ 1 = 1.06 ± 0.33 (stat) - 0.15 + 0.21 (syst) . The findings are obtained with a full data sample of 772 × 1 0 6 B B ¯ pairs collected near the Υ (4 S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e + e - collider.

[en] Complex tetrahedral heptahedron is suggested, taking semiconductive compounds of A3B5 type as examples. It enables to make graphic representations of all possible systems, which form during interaction of 16 salts, composed of four cations and four anions (Zn, Cd and Hg chalcogenides). 3 refs.; 7 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] A Dalitz plot analysis of ∼ 13, 000 Ds+ decays to π+π+π- has been performed. A 384 fb-1 data sample, recorded by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- storage ring running at center of mass energies near 10.6 GeV, is used. Amplitudes and phases of the intermediate resonances which contribute to this final state are measured. A high precision measurement of the ratio: Β(Ds+ → π+π+π-)/Β(Ds+ → K+K-π+) = 0.199 ± 0.004 ± 0.006 is performed. Using a model independent partial wave analysis the amplitude and phase of the S-wave have been measured

AbstractAbstract
[en] Model complexity in amplitude analyses is often a priori under-constrained since the underlying theory permits a large number of possible amplitudes to contribute to most physical processes. The use of an overly complex model results in reduced predictive power and worse resolution on unknown parameters of interest. Therefore, it is common to reduce the complexity by removing from consideration some subset of the allowed amplitudes. This paper studies a method for limiting model complexity from the data sample itself through regularization during regression in the context of a multivariate (Dalitz-plot) analysis. The regularization technique applied greatly improves the performance. An outline of how to obtain the significance of a resonance in a multivariate amplitude analysis is also provided
