AbstractAbstract
[en] A Consultants Meeting on the Resonance Parameters of Fissile Actinides of the International Nuclear Data Evaluation Network (INDEN) was held at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna from 21 to 24 October 2019. The meeting was a follow-up of the working group on evaluations in the resonance region of actinide nuclei. Special focus was on issues in the evaluation in the unresolved resonance region (URR). On-going evaluation work was discussed, and new experimental and evaluation projects targeted at improving the evaluations reviewed. (author)

[en] Assessment of the uses of actinide nuclides in non-reactor application fields is presented. An evaluation of the needs for transactinium isotope nuclear data is made, and the requirements for nuclear data, particularly nuclear decay data, and their associated accuracies are tabulated. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The current status of evaluated heavy element decay data for reactor-related calculations is discussed. This includes a listing of data compilations and evaluations that have been published since the end of 1975 and are judged to be relevant to heavy element decay data. Detailed comments are also made on the current status of those actinide decay data which were identified as important at the First Advisory Group Meeting on Transactinium Isotope Nuclear Data, November 1975. AbstractAbstract
[en] Actinides are attracting keen interests in research fields of solid state physics and are expected to reveal interesting electromagnetic properties. However, most of actinide isotopes are very hazardous α radioactively. Also, they perform the experimental works for actinides physics and chemistry. In this paper, we will describe the facility developed in Tohoku university for the handling actinide elements and will show some preliminary results obtained on the study of electromagnetic properties

AbstractAbstract
[en] The effective moments of inertia of pre-actinide nuclei with 73< or =Z< or =85 are calculated in the droplet model. In contrast to studies carried out previously, the influence of the diffuseness of the nuclear surface and the nonuniformity of the distribution of nucleon density was taken into account both in calculation of the saddle-point configurations and directly in calculation of the effective moments of inertia of the fissioning nuclei. The results are compared with the moments of inertia calculated in the liquid-drop model and with experimental data
