AbstractAbstract
[en] We discover that a certain deformation of the 1+1 dimensional Poincaré superalgebra is exactly realised in the massless sector of the integrable scattering problem. Deformed Poincaré superalgebras were previously noticed to appear in the correspondence—which displays only massive excitations, but they were there only a partial symmetry. We obtain a representation of the boost operator and its coproduct, and show that the comultiplication exactly satisfies the homomorphism property. We present a classical limit, and finally speculate on an analogy with the physics of phonons. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper, we propose to sharpen the weak gravity conjecture by the statement that, except for BPS states in a supersymmetric theory, the gravitational force is strictly weaker than any electric force and provide a number of evidences for this statement. Our conjecture implies that any non-supersymmetric anti-de Sitter vacuum supported by fluxes must be unstable, as is the case for all known attempts at such holographic constructions.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We propose supertwistor realisations of (p, q) anti-de Sitter (AdS) superspaces in three dimensions and -extended AdS superspaces in four dimensions. For each superspace, we identify a two-point function that is invariant under the corresponding isometry supergroup. This two-point function is a supersymmetric extension (of a function) of the geodesic distance. We also describe a bi-supertwistor formulation for -extended AdS superspace in four dimensions and harmonic/projective extensions of (p, q) AdS superspaces in three dimensions.

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper we consider a circular pulsating string expanding and contracting on AdS5 and rotating on S5. For this purpose we use the idea of the generalized ansatz for folded and circular strings in hep-th/0311004. We find the solutions to the resulting Neumann-Rosochatius integralbe system and the corrections to the energy. To do that we use the approach developed by Minahan in hep-th/O209047 and find that the corrections are quite different from those obtained in that paper and in hep-th/04102. We conclude with comments on our solutions and the obtained corrections to the energy, expanded to the leading order in lambda. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that the notion of Conformal Mass can be defined within a given anti-de Sitter (AdS) branch of a Lovelock gravity theory as long as the corresponding vacuum is not degenerate. Indeed, conserved charges obtained by the addition of Kounterterms to the bulk action turn out to be proportional to the electric part of the Weyl tensor, when the fall-off of a generic solution in that AdS branch is considered. The factor of proportionality is the degeneracy condition for the vacua in the particular Lovelock AdS theory under study. This last feature explains the obstruction to define Conformal Mass in the degenerate case.
