AbstractAbstract
[en] A computer model is being developed to optimize cold trap design for hydrogen capacity. Hydrogen mass transfer coefficients ranging upward from 6*10-5 m/s were measured. The rate of mass transfer and the efficiency of the trap increased with increasing quantities of NaH deposited. 14 refs

AbstractAbstract
[en] Said invention relates to a system comprising a trap able to be decontaminated, located between a low temperature enclosure (cryopump) and a system jointly comprising a vacuum enclosure and a furnace where chemical reactions are effected, that release volatile radioactive products either corrosive or dangerous. Said trap consists in a blackened perforated metal structure ensuring the gas to freely circulate from the furnace towards the low temperature enclosure, said trap is designed so as to operate as an optical trap preventing the free path of photons towards the helium cooled cryogenic surface inside the low temperature enclosure
