AbstractAbstract
[en] 6,6,6-2H3-2E-Hexenal, leaf-aldehyde, has been synthesized in 45% yield and 99.3% purity by reaction of 3,3,3-2H3-n-propyl magnesium bromide with an ethereal solution of 3-trimethylsiloxy-2-propenal (3) prepared in situ. This new one pot procedure alleviates the need to isolate (3) and should prove useful in the synthesis of other E-α,β-unsaturated aldehydes. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The approximation methods for the zero-point energy (ZPE) previously developed using the Lanczo's tau method have been applied to the shifts in ZPE due to hydrogen isotope substitutions. Six types of approximation methods have been compared and analyzed on the basis of a weighing function Ω(lambda) varies as lambda/sup k/ and the actual eigenvalue shift spectra. The method generated by the most general optimzation treatment yields a predictable and generally satisfactory precision of the order of 1% or better. A linear frequency sum rule has been derived, which approximately holds for the sets of isotopic molecules which satisfy the second-order frequency sum rule. 19 references, 3 figures, 3 tables

[en] 2-Amino-1,5-dihydro-1-[methyl-2H3] 4H-imidazol-4-one ([methyl-2H3] creatinine) was obtained by acidification and heating (120oC, 120 min) of the [methyl -2H3] N-amidinosarcosine (creatine) synthesised by methylation of guanidoacetate (GA) with S-adenosyl-[methyl-2H3] L-methionine ([methyl-2H3] AdoMet) in the presence of rat liver guanidoacetate methyltransferase (GAA-MT). Isotopic enrichment was 94.7%. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The luminescence spectra of KrD Rydberg molecule in the spectral range from 400 nm to 800 nm in the gas phase at low temperatures (40K) were observed for the first time by means of original experimental technique. In this method, two gas jets were intersected over the surface of superfluid helium (temperature 1.5K, pressure of helium vapor 10 torr). Gas mixture of He with frequency electrodeless discharge. The resulting luminescent jet was introduced in a helium cryostat and crossed by a stream of H2 or D2 molecules to produce RgH or RgD. First experiments with Kr and D2 were carried out. A number of bands observed in the luminescence spectra were assigned to KrD extensively studied by Dabrowski et al. The most pronounced bands observed at 515 nm and 773 nm originate from 4d state and correspond to transitions to 5p states. Transitions from the np complexes were also identified but their intensity was much weaker. Near 483 nm there was a rather broad band assigned to transitions from nf complexes. The luminescence spectra of nitrogen molecules and ions, and CN radicals at such low temperatures were also studied and a number of peculiarities in the spectra were observed. These results will be presented as well
