AbstractAbstract
[en] Searches for decays of heavy neutrinos produced in meson decay and in light neutrino interactions were conducted at CERN by the CHARM Collaboration in the wide-band neutrino beam produced by 400 GeV primary protons and in a prompt neutrino beam produced by dumping 400 GeV protons in a Cu target. No evidence for these decays was found. The experiments were sensitive to neutrinos with mass in the range 0.01-2.8 GeV. The limits on the square of the neutrino mixing angle obtained are ≅ 10-3-10-7 depending on the neutrino mass. 19 refs

[en] The present status of the experiment NA11/NA32 is discussed. For 1982 final numbers for the D lifetimes are presented. A partial analysis of the 1984 data has yielded F candidates for a lifetime measurement. 6 refs.

[en] A new dynamical scheme of hadronization for nonleptonic decays is proposed. As testable consequences, new predictions over the F+ lifetime, over the branching ratio BR(F+→lυx) and over the decay F+→Π+Πo (implying violation of the ΔI=1 rule) are given. (Author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We consider weak decays of the charmed mesons D and F. We develop a new scheme for calculating the amplitudes of two-particle nonleptonic decays based on QCD sum rules. We discuss the basic aspects of the scheme, which gives practically model-independent predictions for the partial widths of the decays

AbstractAbstract
[en] Schwinger-type mass formulas are used to analyze glueball-meson mixing for isoscalar tensor mesons. In one solution, the fJ(2220) is the physical glueball, and in the other the glueball is distributed over various states, with f2(1810) having the largest glueball component. Neither the f2(1565) nor the fJ(1710) are among the physical states without assuming significant coupling to decay channels. The decay f2(1525)→ππ is consistent with experiment, and fJ(2220) is neither narrow nor decays flavor democratically. (c) 2000 The American Physical Society

AbstractAbstract
[en] Recent experiments to measure charmed particle lifetimes are reviewed. The preliminary results of these experiments agree on a D+- lifetime of 7.6/sub -1.5//sup +3.6/ x 10-13sec. The D0 lifetime remains uncertain: the world average is 2.7/sub -0.4//sup +0.8/ x 10-13sec, but excluding at least two apparently good D0 with long flight times and excluding also some early emulsion experiments with apparent bias against long D0 flight times. Preliminary average lifetimes are 2.3/sub -0.7//sup +1.1/ x 10-13sec for Λ/sub c/+ and 1.8/sub -0.6//sup +1.2/ x 10-13sec for F+-. Some developments under way to further improve vertex detectors are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] Weak decays of charmed mesons are considered. A new quantitative framework for theoretical analysis of nonleptonic two-body decays based on the QCD sum rules are proposed. This is the first of a series of papers devoted to the subject. Theoretical foundations of the approach ensuring model-independent predictions for the partial decay widths are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The SLAC Hybrid Facility Photon Collaboration has now completed the analysis for BC 72/73. I will report on the results of this experiment which include measurements of the D0 and D+ lifetimes, a null search for unambiguous F decays, a measurement of the charm photoproduction cross section at 20 GeV, and evidence for mixed meson pair production and associated meson-baryon production

AbstractAbstract
[en] The amplitudes of the charmed meson decays D→0-+0-+γ and F→0-+0-+γ are calculated in the framework of the SU(4)xSU(4)-chiral Lagrangians with account for anomalies. It is shown that in this approach no E1-transition exists
