AbstractAbstract
[en] Although, U-Pu fuel cycle is dominant in nuclear power production and reprocessing technology is concentrated on U based fuels, Th has a potential importance as nuclear fuel and research and studies about Th fuel cycle have been carried out in many countries. This study focuses on flow sheet calculations which may be used during design of a pilot facility for reprocessing of Th-based fuels. An HTGR fuel cycle has been selected as the reference fuel cycle and a model has been developed in order to perform the flow sheet calculations. The model consists of two computer programs, one of which performs extraction section calculations and the other saubbing section calculations using the expressions tor distribution coefficients of solutes of interest obtained from literature. Recoveries and decontamination factors determined by performing flow sheet calculations for all basic cycles ot Thorex (a codecontamination, a Th partition and a U stripping cycle) have been found to be adequate

[en] A strategy is presented for the application of welding technology in the manufacture of power plant. A flow chart description is adopted in the present paper to provide a general framework outlining the sequence of activities leading to manufacture. The broad chronological order of events is treated under the three headings, Component Design, Welding Development, and Implementation. Important factors that have to be considered at each of these stages are shown in subsidiary flow charts together with short notes to provide context and an aide memoire for those involved in welding technology. [en] The invention is aimed at increasing the accuracy of Moessbauer spectrum measurement by compensating external exciting effects. For compensation an additional modulator, its design being identical to the basic one, is introduced into standard spectrometer. The axes of both modulators are parallel, radiation source and absorber are located respectively on the rods of basic and adolitional modulators. Compensation is achieved at the expense of similar reaction of basic and additional modulators to external effects

[en] The invention deals with gamma-spectrometry and it can be used in small-channel gamma-spectrometers intended for determination of concentration of radioactive elements in different media (for example, in rocks). The gamma-spectrometer comprises amplitude analyzer, at least one main detector of gamma-radiation and an additional detector of gamma-radiation. The purpose of the invention is simplification of the equipment and increase of measuring accuracy. This purpose is attained due to the fact that outlets of each channel of the amplitude analyzer are connected with the inlets of two units of time coincidences the second inlets of which are connected to the outlets of the main and additional detectors. The latter ones are connected with the inlet of the small-channel amplitude analyzer by means of the mixing device

[en] The invention deals with magnetic measurings and it can be used in mass-spectrometry for precise measuring the square of induction of constant and slowly varying magnetic fields. A digital gauge of the square of magnetic induction containing cascadly connected two Hall transducers, current source, keys voltage-digital converter phase-sensitive elements, control unit and digital detection device is close to the suggested one in technical essence. The purpose of the invention is the increase of measuring fast response. Use of the suggested devise permits to build precise digital gauges of induction square of spacefully non-uniform direct and alternating magnetic fields at the increased fast response of the gauges

[en] A circuit is described which may be used as a basis for either a summer or a subtracter decade counter in the 1-2-4-8 code. Joint employment of forward and reverse counting decades makes it possible to develope a reversive counter. Basic circuits of the decade itself and of the summer counter, the subtracter counter and the reversive decimal counter are given. All these devices use integrated circuits of the 155 and 158 series

[en] The invention deals with gamma-spectrometry and it can be used in small-channel gamma-spectrometers intended for determination of concentration of radioactive elements in different media. The purpose of the invention is simplification of tuming the system of autocompensation of the residual background at simultaneous increase of measuring accuracy. The purpose is attained by the fact that the additional radiometer comprises the solving amplifier. The autocompensation system operates in the following way. The signal at the outlet of the counting rate gauge is proportional to intensity of cosmic radiation and radon concentration in the air. The signal at the outlet of other gauge is proportional to intensity of cosmic radiation and it is used just for compensation of errors by thorium. The additional amplifier, at the inlets of which the outlet signals of hard and soft channels get, forms the signal for compensation of errors by uranium
