AbstractAbstract
[en] New methods of sheet stamping were developed: the gas forming with double-sided heating of a blank part and the gas molding with backpressure. In case of the first method the blank part is heated to the set temperature by means of a double-sided impact of combustion products of gas mixtures, after which, under the influence of gas pressure a stamping process is performed. In case of gas molding with backpressure, the blank part is heated to the set temperature by one-sided impact of the combustion products, while backpressure is created on the opposite side of the blank part by compressed air. In both methods the deformation takes place in the temperature range of warm or hot treatment due to the heating of a blank part. This allows one to form parts of complicated shape within one technological operation, which significantly reduces the cost of production. To implement these methods, original devices were designed and produced, which are new types of forging and stamping equipment. Using these devices, an experimental research on the stamping process was carried out and high-quality parts were obtained, which makes it possible to recommend the developed methods of stamping in the industrial production. Their application in small-scale production will allow one to reduce the cost price of stamped parts 2 or 3 times. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The excess top and bottom parts of the ingot are removed while hot and the ingot is processed to a semi-finished product without prior edge forging. The axial, lowest quality part is removed from the ingot usable part either by hot punching or by cold drilling, and after heating if required, it is forged on a mandrel into a ring-shape semi-finished product. The patented method eliminates the need of forging a handling pin, forging the ingot edges, and reduces the top and bottom crop and loss by burn-off. (Ha)

AbstractAbstract
[en] For forging process in the production of high energy consumption, this paper proposes an energy-saving scheduling model. This article will take the forgings oven minimum hours minimum energy-saving scheduling for the production target of minimizing the idle time are established to aim at oven, for the purpose of energy saving. Using the Hungarian method to hierarchical model, and finally got the forging production of energy-saving of optimal production plan, and uses case to verify the feasibility of scheduling model. AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper takes the online detection equipment of high temperature forgings in the forging environment as the research goal, and uses laser triangulation to perform 3D point cloud imaging of high temperature forgings, and then conducts online detection of the defects, temperature, position, size and other parameters of the forgings. Real-time information feedback of measurement results, and timely adjustment of forging equipment and improvement of production process routes based on the feedback results, thereby effectively improving forging accuracy and forging efficiency, and reducing the work intensity of workers. AbstractAbstract
[en] An experimental investigation into closed-die cold forging of sintered aluminium powder rod- shaped compacts was carried out. Axi-symmetric components were forged from sintered powder preforms with different initial diameter to height ratios. Different compaction pressures, sintering and lubrication conditions were used as variables during the investigations. Detailed observations were made on green/sintered density, compaction defects, forging loads, deformation modes and on the onset of fracture during progressive forging of sintered powder compacts. Experimental results obtained during the investigations have been presented and discussed in detail. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The design of industrial parts is a clear example of integrative effort that, with a focus of several disciplines, requires a detailed analysis of the different scientific and technological knowledge implied in its conception and development. Inside this performance context, the present work approaches the problem of the project of hot forging parts, proposing the use of criteria of viability and optimization that, based in technical and economical considerations, allow to valuate the adjusting degree of various alternative to the forge process, facilitating with it the selection of the most appropriate. Fixed these bases and with object of shortening times of answer analysis in an application corresponding to parts with revolution symmetry, a computerized system has been introduced that, taking as started data the design of the part, geometrically simulates the forge process, allowing to calculate the adaptation coefficients in those morphologies that are possible according to the criteria of viability criteria. This system also provides a graphic representation of machined part, the forged part and the finished stamp. (Author) 22 refs
