[en] A decay scheme of 74Zn to levels in 74Ga is presented in which 39 γ rays are placed, deexciting 11 states up to 1085 keV. Five levels are postulated to have Jπ=1+ based on β feedings but much uncertainty still exists concerning Jπ assignments for levels below 300 keV

AbstractAbstract
[en] The low-lying energy levels of Ga74 are studied by simple shell-model calculation in which it is assumed that a proton hole in orbit sup(2)psub(3/2) is coupled with neutrons in sup(2)psub(1/2) and sup(1)gsub(9/2) orbits. The recently observed low lying states of Ga74 are 4-, 3-, 1+. Calculations based on this model give 4- as the ground state and 3- as the first excited state. This agrees well with the recently observed value of 4-, 3- and 1+ for low lying states.(author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The fission neutron spectrum averaged cross-sections for the reactions 70Ge(n,p) 70Ga and 74Ge (n,p) 74Ga have been determined. The averages of four determinations are, respectively, (3.10±0.30) mb and (0.00938±0.00059) mb. The present values are, to the authors' knowledge, the first experimental data on the fission averaged cross-section for these reactions. (author). 6 refs., 2 tabs
