AbstractAbstract
[en] The Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence between theories in AdS space and conformal field theories in physical space-time provides as analytic, the semi-classical model for strongly-coupled QCD. In this work, we investigate properties of the octet baryon in the holographic model, calculate the coupling constant between π meson-octet baryon in the framework holographic model by considering the infrared-modified 5D conformal mass and Yukawa coupling of the bulk baryon field. Predictions of this model for the mass spectrum of the baryon octet are appropriate with the experimental value. It means the hard-wall AdS/QCD model is favorable for determining coupling constants between elementary particles

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper it is continued the geometrical investigation of certain symmetry-breaking mechanisms previously begun. It is considered first a geometrical interpretation of gauge field interactions with spinors when the spinor bundle structure is taken into account, and recovered in this way the ABJ anomaly. These ideas are then applied to a model of symmetry breaking within the light pseudoscalar-meson octet, and a formula for the Cabibbo angle theta is obtained which yields sintheta approx. 0.22804

AbstractAbstract
[en] Here, it is well known that, because of the axial anomaly in QCD, mesons with J P = 0 – are close to SU(3) V eigenstates; the η'(958) meson is largely a singlet, and the η meson an octet. In contrast, states with J P = 1 – are flavor diagonal; e.g., the Φ(1020) is almost pure ¯ss. Using effective Lagrangians, we show how this generalizes to states with higher spin, assuming that they can be classified according to the unbroken chiral symmetry of G fl = SU(3) L × SU(3) R. We construct effective Lagrangians from terms invariant under G fl and introduce the concept of hetero- and homochiral multiplets. Because of the axial anomaly, only terms invariant under the Z(3) A subgroup of the axial U(1) A enter. For heterochiral multiplets, which begin with that including the η and η'(958), there are Z(3) A invariant terms with low mass dimension which cause states to mix according to SU(3) V flavor. For homochiral multiplets, which begin with that including the Φ(1020), there are no Z(3) A invariant terms with low mass dimension, and so states are diagonal in flavor. In this way, we predict the flavor mixing for themore » heterochiral multiplet with spin 1 as well as for hetero- and homochiral multiplets with spin 2 and spin 3.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Possible descriptions of the psi states as unorthodox color octet states in the Han-Nambu model are discussed. Simple quark-antiquark configurations are unbound in the static colored gluon exchange model. More complicated states having indefinite numbers of quark-antiquark pairs, or ''collapsed configurations'' might be bound. Their radiative decays would be suppressed by the small overlap with conventional states. The unexplained spin dependence of both conventional and new meson spectra is pointed out. The rho-π mass difference is about half the rho-f splitting, while the B-f splitting is small. New particles have low-lying vectors and no trace of pseudo-scalars. A link between these spectra is suggested by the observation that precisely these features follow from adding a repulsive core to the colored gluon exchange potential in the color singlet spin triplet state which also reverses sign in the color octet states. AbstractAbstract
[en] The study of SU3 symmetry in u, d and c quark sector is suggested. The mass formulae in this sector for vector mesons are satisfied approximately for linear mass case, while the quark-line rule is satisfied in a sufficient accuracy in conformity with Sakurai's octet-singlet mixing angle and Okubo's ideal nonet. AbstractAbstract
[en] The masses and decay constants of the octet pseudoscalar mesons are calculated to all orders of quark mass in terms of the effective meson theory. Consequently, the analytic functions of quark masses for the masses and decay constants are obtained. The decay constant Fη has been predicted and the three light quark masses are determined

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the f2(1270)-f'2(1525) mixing framework, the isoscalar singlet-octet mixing angle for the 1 3P2 tensor nonet is determined to have the value of 27.5 deg and the decays of the two states are investigated. Comparing the predicted results of the decays of the two states with the available experimental data, we find that the predicted results based on this simple mixing picture are in good agreement with the experimental data, which show that the f2(1270) and f'2(1525) wavefunctions do not need other components such as glueballs or the 2 3P2, 3 3P2,...,qq-bar.
