AbstractAbstract
[en] The "1"5O(2p,γ )"1"7Ne cross section has been studied by the inverse reaction, the Coulomb dissociation of "1"7Ne. The experiment has been performed at the GSI. The "1"7Ne excitation energy prior to decay has been reconstructed by using the invariant-mass method. The preliminary differential and integral Coulomb dissociation cross sections (σ(Coul)) have been extracted, which provide a photoabsorption (σ(photo)) and a radiative capture cross section (σ(cap)). Additionally, important information about the "1"7Ne nuclear structure will be obtained. The analysis is in progress. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] 17Ne is one of the candidates for a proton-halo nucleus. In order to make the halo structure of 17Ne clear, we studied the density distribution of 17Ne through the reaction cross sections σR. As a consequence, it is suggested from σR data that 17Ne has a long tail in the density, which is consistent with an occupancy of the 2s1/2 orbital by the two valence protons

AbstractAbstract
[en] Fingerprints of entangled states of the two protons, from the decay of halo resonant states of 17Ne has been studied. This study makes possible a way to discern the diproton emission from the others two proton emission mechanisms. Specially we calculate the energy (E1=10.87 MeV) and the width (Γ1=3.82 MeV) of the first halo resonant state, which can also emits diproton. For this purpose, the diproton was considered as a resonant state and its width (Γs=4.049 MeV) was estimated. An analytic expression for the angular proton-proton distribution was found in agreement with experimental results. We conclude that the first 17Ne excited state can not emit diproton. We also arrive at the conclusion that there are few 17Ne excited states, having halo properties which can emit diproton. (Full Text)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The first forbidden β-decay of 17Ne into the first excited state of 17F has been remeasured by a new direct method. The measured branching ratio, 1.56±0.20%, is consistent with that previously presented; thus the large asymmetry of the β-decay strength between 17Ne and 17N decays has been confirmed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the present work investigate the bound state properties along with some other interesting features of exotic halo nuclei- 14Be, 17B, 19 B, 22C etc in the framework of hyperspherical harmonics expansion method (HHEM). We assume a few-body (two- and three-body) model consisting of a structureless nuclear core plus one or two valence nucleon(s) forming a far extended low density tail by the quantum mechanical tunneling of the last one or two nucleon(s)
