AbstractAbstract
[en] Decay of 96Rh isomers is studied. Using semiconductor Ge(Li) gamma-spectrometer spectra of gamma-beams, accompanying decay of 96Rh isomers are measured. Identification of 96Rh gamma-beams has been carried out according to their output using the reactions 96Ru(3He, p2n)96Rh at the energy of 3He of 30 MeV and 96Ru(p, n)99Rh at proton energy of 15 MeV. Energies and relative intensities of gamma-beams are measured. A scheme of decay of the given isomers is suggested. 18 excitated levels have been introduced for the first time. On the basis of the data obtained conclusions are made on possible quantum characteristics of the main and metastable state of 96Rh, as well as the excited states of 96Ru

AbstractAbstract
[en] The closed-shell nuclide 96Pd has been found to decay with a 2.0 min half-life to a 1+ state at 177 keV in 96Rh. The 1+-2+ separation of 125 keV can be combined with systematic data to suggest 1+ isomers in 98Ag, 100In and 102In. The presence of such isomers is consistent with the studies of the decay of 98Ag and 102In and would make the study of parent 100Sn and 102Sn decay by gamma-ray spectroscopy difficult. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The production and decay of 190-ms 89Mosup(m), 2.15-min 89Mosup(g), 8.2-min 88Mo, and 2.0-min 96Pd have been studied using sources produced at the Maryland Cyclotron. The resulting γ-ray spectra have extended the systematics of the N = 47 and 48 isotones to higher Z and revealed sharp differences between the N = 47 isotones and Z = 47 isotopes. The low-lying 1+ states identified in 96Rh following the decay of 96Pd further supports the hypothesis of strong interaction between protons and neutrons with identical e values. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The nuclear excited states of 96Ru were studied by means of the decays of 9.25-min and 1.55-min 96Rh isomers, and the 93Nb(6Li, 3nγ) reaction. Approximately 140 γ rays measured in these experiments were incorporated into a level scheme consisting of approximately 50 excited states. The experimental level scheme is compared with a level scheme calculated on the basis of the shell model

[en] A brief report on beta decays of those neighbouring even-A nuclei which have already been reached in the experiment is given. The emphasis is put on the identification and strength determination of the 0+ → 1+ Gamow-Teller (GT) beta transitions. The data presented in the work come mostly from the experiments carried out in Darmstadt by the GSI on-line-mass-separator group in collaboration with several universities. However, some results obtained in other laboratories have been included for completeness. 23 refs., 5 figs., 1 tab. (author)
