AbstractAbstract
[en] There is a great interest in the structure of the N = Z nuclei since, unlike in all other nuclei, it will be dominated by the T = 0 residual interaction. The presently available experimental information indicates a small region strong deformation centered on "7"6Sr. In this work, we aim at predicting such hyperdeformed shapes through Jacobi shape transitions in even-even Strontium isotopes, "7"6Sr and "7"8Sr as a function of spin

AbstractAbstract
[en] Monopole corrected effective interactions for Tz = 0, 1, 2 nuclei of Kr, Sr, and Zr within Variational Mean Field Theory are discussed here. In the present calculations, the doubly closed shell 56Ni nucleus have been treated as inert core with valence space spanned by the orbits 0f5/2, 1p3/2, 1p1/2 and 0g9/2

AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of our work was to measure the β-decay of 76Sr to obtain its B(GT) distribution with high accuracy to study the deformation of its ground state. The complete gamma cascades following the β-decay of 76Sr were measured. We can conclude that the ground state of 76Sr is strongly prolate in agreement with the previous experimental indication and theoretical predictions. (K.A.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] High-spin states in 76Sr have been studied using Gammasphere plus Microball detector arrays. The known yrast band has been extended beyond the first band crossing, which involves the simultaneous alignment of pairs of g(9/2) protons and neutrons, to a tentative spin of 24(ℎ/2π). The data are compared with the results of cranked relativistic mean-field (CRMF) and cranked relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov (CRHB) calculations. The properties of the band, including the g(9/2) proton/neutron band crossing frequency and moments of inertia, are found to be well reproduced by the CRHB calculations. Furthermore, the unpaired CRMF calculations show quite good agreement with the data beyond the band crossing region, indicating that pairing is weak at these frequencies. The high spin results suggest that there is little evidence for an isoscalar (t=0) np pair field. Moreover, a systematic study of the band crossings in even-even N=Z nuclei for the first time reveals that there is no evidence to support the existence of the Coulomb antipairing effect caused by the Coulomb exchange term

AbstractAbstract
[en] Pairing correlations and deformations have been studied for ground state. Pairing energy shows an increase for 64Ge, with 76Sr having maximum pairing energy with sudden decrease for 80Zr for all the three T =1, T =0 and T = 1 + 0 pairing modes

AbstractAbstract
[en] Results are presented concerning shape coexistence and shape transition at low and intermediate spins in the N=Z nuclei 72Kr, 76Sr and 80Zr obtained within the complex version of the Excited Vampir variational approach. The effects of possible contaminations due to the center-of-mass motion are discussed using a rough method to eliminate them at least approximately. The results indicate maximum influence on the observables depending on band mixing. Detailed illustration of the effects on the oblate-prolate mixing and the electromagnetic properties, as well as the alignments and particle occupations of the 0g9/2 spherical orbital is presented for the 72Kr nucleus

AbstractAbstract
[en] A new Total Absorption Spectrometer (TAS) called 'Lucrecia' has been installed at ISOLDE (CERN) to investigate the β-decay of some nuclei with A≅70-80 in the vicinity of the N=Z line. In this work we report on the decay of the N=Z nucleus 76Sr, measured with a TAS for the first time. The Gamow-Teller strength distribution B(GT) for this decay is presented and compared with theoretical calculations
