[en] The half-life of the 830.2-keV isomeric state in ⁹⁷Sr, for which very different values are reported in the literature, has been measured. The experiment performed at the LOHENGRIN fission-fragment separator consisted of two independent measurements. The two measurements provided consistent results. The weighted average value, T_1/2=526(13) ns, supports the interpretation of the 830.2-keV state in ⁹⁷Sr, as the 9/2⁺[404] neutron-hole configuration

[en] In 1988 we reanalyzed the published data on ⁹⁷Sr and ⁹⁹Zr and suggest coexistence of spherical and strongly deformed shapes in these nuclei. We suggested that levels 585 (3/2⁺) and 687 (5/2⁺) are members of rotational band with K=3/2⁺ and level 645 and 714 belong to another band. However, observation of only one K+1 member of the band was not enough to be considered as strong evidence for such band. Now we report from a study of the spontaneous fission of ²⁵²Cf the observation of I=K+2 (825 keV), K+3 (984 keV) and possibly K+4 (1164 keV) (I=7/2⁺, 9/2⁺, 11/2⁺) members of this K=3/2⁺ band. New results for ⁹⁹Sr also will be reported

[en] The fission product separator Ostis at the Institute Laue-Langevin at Grenoble (France) was used for the investigation of the β-decays and the level schemes of short-lived Rb, Sr and Y isotopes with A = 95, 97 and 99. The studies in the mass chains 95 and 97 were made using a surface ionization source to provide Rb isotopes whereas the mass chain 99 was investigated using an high temperature ion source. The study of these nuclei close to ⁹⁸Sr and ¹⁰⁰Zr where a shape coexistence was evidenced is of great interest. Single γ-ray and conversion electron spectra, and prompt and delayed γ-γ and β-γ coincidences were measured. The level schemes of ⁹⁵Sr, ⁹⁵Y, ⁹⁷Sr and ⁹⁷Y were established or extended and a preliminary level scheme is given for ⁹⁹Y. (orig.)
