AbstractAbstract
[en] Using the functional stochastic scheme, the gauge fixing term for linearized gravity is shown to be related to longitudinal modes within the framework of the usual set of momentum projection operators. A similar analysis is done for non-Abelian antisymmetric tensor field by replacing derivatives with covariant derivatives in all relevant equations and by constructing suitable operators for projecting out transverse and longitudinal modes

AbstractAbstract
[en] The well-known right-angled level paradox of Lewis-Tolman is discussed. The solution of the paradox is based on the requirement of vanishing (time components) the covariant 4-tensor of a torque which leads to the 'elongation formula' for a longitudinal arm of the level. The application of the space components of the indicated tensor is illustrated as another, little known example considered by Einstein at one time and concerning solid body dynamics. 7 refs

[en] General expressions of the collective terms of the vector and tensor forces are obtained and explicit expressions of the potentials of these forces in the case of multipole interactions are presented. The special features of the collective potentials of the vectorial and tensorial interactions are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The quantization rules for gauge theories with open algebras are generalized to the case of linearly dependent generators. The given zero-eigenvalue eigenvectors of the generators may also be linearly dependent and possess zero-eigenvalue eigenvectors which may also be linearly dependent and so on. We give the solution for the general case of such a hierarchy

AbstractAbstract
[en] A detailed analysis of the effect of short-range and tensor correlations on one- and two-nucleon momentum distributions of medium-weight nuclei (12≤A≤40) is carried out. Although our Letter is primarily aimed at understanding the role of the tensor force on nucleon momentum distributions of medium-weight nuclei, the possible relevance of our results for the interpretation of (e,e'N) and (e,e'2N) processes at high Q2, aimed at investigating nucleon-nucleon correlations, is discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] A possible way to construct quantum gravity theory is the quantization of self-interacting massless spin-2 field. But the precise procedure of Gupta-Bleuler quantization for the free massless spin-2 field was not given yet, and an ad hoc formalism used nine pseudoparticles. The present paper gives the correct form of Gupta-Bleuler quantization, using only the necessary eight pseudoparticles and the two physically relevant polarizations. (D.Gy.)
