AbstractAbstract
[en] The study of nuclei near the N=Z=50 shell closures offer a fascinating avenue to deepen our knowledge of nuclear shell structures near the proton drip line. The presence of a limited number of valance nucleons compared to the 100Sn core serve as an ideal testing ground for exploring various structural phenomena. These include magnetic and antimagnetic rotation, band termination, and the assessment of how the nucleus changes from collective to non-collective structures, or vice versa. These investigations offer a more profound under-standing of how residual interactions influence the behavior of particles as they move through different energy levels within the nucleus. The odd-A 107Sn nucleus, situated between 105Sn and 109Sn, was previously characterised up to low-spin states, including the identification of positive parity states up to Jπ = 25/2+ and negative parity states up to Jπ = 31/2-, has been revisited in this current work. The level structure of 107Sn further elucidated through the in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy

AbstractAbstract
[en] Projectile fragmentation reactions at intermediate energies characterized by the emission of several intermediate mass fragments (3 ≤ Z ≤ 20) is a natural continuation of fission towards complete vaporization. In this work using a projectile fragmentation model, we study the average number of intermediate mass fragment production as a function of Zbound (= sum of charges of all projectile fragments with Z > 1) and charge distributions at different Zbound intervals for Sn107 and Sn124 on natural tin (Sn119) reactions at 600 MeV per nucleon energy

AbstractAbstract
[en] The A/Z dependence of projectile fragmentation at relativistic energies has been studied with the ALADIN forward spectrometer at SIS. A stable beam of 124Sn and radioactive beams of 124La and 107Sn at 600 MeV per nucleon have been used in order to explore a wide range of isotopic compositions. Chemical freeze-out temperatures are found to be nearly invariant with respect to the A/Z of the produced spectator sources, consistent with predictions for expanded systems. Small Coulomb effects (ΔT≅0.6 MeV) appear for residue production near the onset of multifragmentation

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this work, we present recent shell model calculations, based on a realistic nucleon-nucleon interaction, for the light 107,109Sn nuclei. By combining the calculations with the semi-classical Coulomb excitation code GOSIA, a set of γ-ray intensities has been generated. The calculated intensities are compared with the data from recent Coulomb excitation studies in inverse kinematics at the REX-ISOLDE facility with the nucleus 107Sn. The results are discussed in the context of the ordering of the single-particle orbits relative to 100Sn.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Low-spin, low energy-levels in 109,107Sn have been studied following the β-decay of a 17-s 109Sb and a 4-s 107Sb, respectively. A number of new transitions and levels are established in 109Sn with improved support for spin and parity assignments for previously known states. In addition, the presence of two pairs of levels separated by only 14 keV is confirmed. Four new levels are observed in 107Sn, three of them are below 1 MeV excitation energy. The structure of these nuclides is discussed, focusing on three-quasiparticle cluster structures, movement of the Fermi level, and extrapolations for the single-neutron levels in 101Sn
