AbstractAbstract
[en] The traditional isoscaling technique has been used to analyze all isotopically identified particles from "7"0Zn+"7"0Zn and "6"4Zn+"6"4Zn collisions at 35 MeV/u. Two additional techniques, using an energy-averaged ratio and using the data present in the tail of energy spectra, are compared to the traditional method and show similar results. Isoscaling fit parameters α and β are found both globally and for each individual series of constant Z and N. The data are then split up between emitted fragments and projectile-like fragments. Isoscaling values for the two different types of fragments are shown to be different, emphasizing the importance of experimentally distinguishing between projectile-like fragments and emitted fragments in order to achieve accurate isoscaling parameters.

AbstractAbstract
[en] 67Cu was produced with 70Zn(p,a)67Cu nuclear reaction in high current cyclotron cyclone-30. For high beam current irradiation on 70Zn target, the electroplating method was successful and physical status of the 70Zn was good, but unfortunately melting on the surface was found during 200μA proton irradiation on the target. The efficient chemical separation method for 67Cu separation from irradiated 70Zn target using solvent extraction (0.01% dithizone in CCl4-HCl) followed by ion exchange method and the recycling process for the enriched 70Zn material were developed. Several nuclear reactions with charged particle irradiation in the accelerator, i.e., 68Zn(p,2p)67Cu, 67Zn(d,2p)67Cu, 64Ni(α,p)67Cu and 70Zn(p,α)67Cu have been investigated for 67Cu production. Based on consideration of the production yield and radioisotopes impurities level in 67Cu solution, the characteristics of cyclotron beam in our institute, the latter nuclear reaction is best for 67Cu production even though the target material, the enriched 70Zn is very expensive.

[en] In the present work, we report calculated low-lying yrast levels and B(E2) for "6"4"-"7"0Zn to account the aspects responsible for less persisting signature of quasi-magic number. Our calculated results are compared with existing experimental measured values

AbstractAbstract
[en] The inelastic electron scattering cross sections for the excitation of the low-lying collective states in the even Zn isotopes 64Zn, 66Zn, 68Zn and 70Zn have been measured in the momentum transfer region q = 0.3-1.1 fm-1. Strong transitions to the first 2+ and 3- states have been observed and the modified Tassie model with a two parameter Fermi charge distribution for the ground state was used to extract the values for the reduced transition probability B (Elambda). Besides the investigation of these states, which in the framework of the vibrational model are considered as one-phonon states, special effort was made to measure the transition to the 2+ two-phonon states in 64Zn (epsilon = 1.80 MeV) and 70Zn (epsilon = 1.76 MeV). The anharmonic vibrator model has been applied to these two nuclei and values extracted for the static quadrupole moment of the first excited state. (Auth.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Excited states of the odd–odd nucleus 74As have been investigated via heavy ion fusion evaporation reaction 70Zn(7Li,3n)74As at beam energy of 30 MeV. The properties of the positive- and the negative- parity bands can be interpreted in terms of the Cranked Nilsson–Strutinsky (CNS) model calculations which show that the observed bands are built on the triaxial deformed shape. The inversion of the favored and unfavored signature branches observed in the positive-parity bands presents at high spins rather than normal signature inversion occurs at low spins. This phenomenon may be explained as the origin of unpaired band crossing in a highly rotating triaxial nucleus.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The problems related with the departures from the ideal behaviour of the epithermal component of the neutron spectrum are discussed, in connection with the measurement of resonance integrals. The characteristics of the methods for the measurement of the α parameter are commented and the bases of a new method for the determination of mean effective resonance energy, developed at the authors' laboratory, are briefly described. On these grounds, the application to the correct measurement of the resonance integrals of 68Zn(n,γ)69mZn, 70Zn(n,γ)71Zn and 70Zn(n,γ)71mZn is presented, the values we have obtained for these resonance integrals are respectively (0.259 ± 0.016) b, (0.125 ± 0.025) b and (0.190 ± 0.013) b
