AbstractAbstract
[en] A model is developed to describe the random aspects of the leader trajectory in a discharge gap. A simplified model of leader propagation is descried. It is stated that in spite of the introduced simplifications, the probability diffusion approximation derived is able to describe the random walk features of leaders in weakly non-uniform SF6 gaps including the dependence of gas pressure, applied voltage and geometry.
