[en] For CsI exposed to electron pulses of about 50 ps at 300 K an inertial growth of the F-centre absorption in the course of time (up to 200 ps) has been detected. The growth is associated with the zone-electron and Vk-centre-recombination kinetics. The cross section for the electron capture by the self-trapped hole has been evaluated
