AbstractAbstract
[en] The energy of the first level above the proton threshold in /sup 18/F has been determined to be 5672.57 +- 0.32 keV by γ-ray measurements using the /sup 14/N(α,γ)/sup 18/F reaction. The change in the excitation energy of this level previously measured at 5668 +- 2 keV affects significantly the calculated reaction rate for /sup 17/O destruction during hydrogen burning in stars
