[en] A cold neutron source with two thermal and three cold neutron guide tubes has been installed in the upgraded JRR-3. Neutron fluxes, time-of-flight spectra and the gain of the cold neutron source were measured at the end of the neutron guide tubes. The neutron beam distributions were found by neutron radiography films. (orig.)
