[en] A study is make of the filamentation instability of quark-gluon plasma excited by a hard jet of colored partons. The analysis is made with allowance for the dispersion properties of the plasma associated with the expected high temperature of the quark-gluon matter in ultrarelativistic collisions of nuclei. It is pointed out that there is a possibility of diagnostics of the initial temperature of the quark-gluon plasma by means of hard jets on the basis of the filamentation effect. 16 refs., 2 figs
