AbstractAbstract
[en] A numerical technique is developed for calculating combined conduction and radiation transient heat transfer in semi-transparent medium having a cylindrical geometry and temperature-dependent physical properties. The radiative components are introduced as a heat source and as an external heat flux. The finite element method is used to solve the governing equations for different boundary conditions. (authors)
