AbstractAbstract
[en] Absorption of UO22+ from dilute solution by anabaena azollae is completed within 2 minutes. The optimum pH is among 5-8.5, which suggested that [UO2OH]+ is the major form to be bound by anabaena azollae. Li+, Na+ K+ and NH4+ or F-, Cl-, SO42- and NO3- have not obvious effect on the absorption of uranium. Cu2+, Cd2+, Mn2+ and Zn2+ decreased the absorption capacity of uranium by anabaena azollae. Fresh cells of 3.5-4.5 g/L (in dry weight) is able to attenuate uranium in simulated wastewater from 5.5 mg/L to 0.05 mg/L after 4-7 serial experiments
