AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of numerical modelling of the Chernobyl radionuclide dispersion in the Lake Bodensee are presented. Simulations were performed on the basis of two models. The first one is a three-dimensional model of hydrodynamics and radionuclide transport (THREETOX). The second one is a one-and-a-half dimension lagrangian multilayer lake model (LATOX). The model calculations are compared with measurements. The simulated results demonstrated the ability of both models to describe the dispersion of the radionuclide in stratified inland water bodies.
