AbstractAbstract
[en] Measurement of ionic materials conductivity as a function of temperature can be done if a special furnace is available. In order to support the research, an experiment was carried out to obtain a specific material for the heating element holder which can be used at high temperature, widely available in the local market and easily processed by casting method. At this experiment some materials such as clay, gibsum compound, grey and white cement have been tested. The test result indicate that the best material to be used as an holder of nickel wire heating element is grey cement. Heating system controlled by TZ4M-14S temperature controller, have been tested from room temperature to 450oC with ± 0.5oC in accuracy and it can be used with maximum temperature of 700oC. (author)
